Elyounoussi lost his spot because of his performances whereas Christie has contributed in a tangible way. Elyounoussi will get his chance and I’m a big fan of his, but there’s a reason one has kept his spot and the other hasn’t.

Are folk disagreeing with Lenny that he’s been poor just because he scored the winner tonight?

He has been poor, he’s capable of so much more and in his best form he’s a guaranteed starter.

I think people are more questioning why, in a midfield which is underperforming, he’s the one to have been dropped. The simple answer to that though is the change in shape.

Lennon seemingly doesn’t fancy him as a 10, so he’s either a forward in a 3-5-2 or a left winger in a 4-2-3-1. Personally I think we should be playing the latter system until we have a left sided player capable of playing the wingback role.

It isn’t a direct toss up between him and the guy who is toiling in the midfield though, our captain.

Like I said, match fit and in form he’s a guaranteed starter. He was neither though prior to being benched.

I’m not disagreeing with you at all, just explaining what I perceived to be people’s point. Moi certainly hadn’t hit the heights before he was dropped (he’s not the only one). For me though, there’s absolutely no need for Brown if we have three centre backs (unless we’re up against a real elite side, and even then his performances don’t merit inclusion currently). It nullifies our attacking threat and transition play too much - two areas where Moi excels.

His performance drop was more due to being played as a lwb with a clustered midfield and no striker to link with. Hopefully gets more game time as we know how talented he is

100%. He's a very good player BUT he has been poor this season which is why he hasnt been in the team. No point in people ranting about how Lenny is mad not to play him...he been poor this season, simple as that. Hopefully the goal tonight will kick start his season.

Christie has been poor despite his stats. Anyone saying otherwise is blinded by stats.

Agree and disagree, his goals and assists are and have been crucial.

His overall play has been poor though, agree with that. I think worse than that, him being shoehorned in wherever there’s a potential slot is the main reason we look as disjointed as we do at times.

They have been crucial, but he’s a big reason why our overall play has been pish.

    Tonight he was a disgrace.

He done my * in again tonight and then played the ball to Frimpong that created the winner..

    Typical Christie. Shooting from everywhere
Getting robbed of possession or misplacing passes straight out the park
Headless chicken in the single press
Couldn't put 1 decent corner or set piece in

Then lays Frimpong in for the assist..

Can’t be excused though. Good ball but Frimpong had a lot to do and had no right getting that ball in the box.

One good pass doesn’t change anything for me.

Aye it wasn't a great pass either. Was a here do something with this pass at the end of the game and luckily it worked out..

We're on the same page with him. Find him infuriating :50:

100% think Moi’s most effective in a 4231. Think he’s most devasting making movement off the left. He has the talent to play the 10 in the middle definitely but I don’t think he’s comfortable there

Needs to do more for me, been too inconsistent or maybe my expectation is too high of him. A player of his ability should be ripping it up in our league

Mo was absolutely raging when he was stripped and then Livi scored their second and had to sit on the bench for a bit longer..

Bit of fire in his belly no doubt and last night will give him plenty of confidence..
