    Right, so we’re assuming that someone was poisoned during the day phase yesterday and has noticed they have symptoms during the night.

    I reckon they’ll either die at the end of this day phase or will be able to choose to infect someone else today. Then the person infected today will pick someone tomorrow and so on.

    Maybe overthinking it.

    That makes sense actually, so what if there are actually only a few scum and they infect 1 every day then the person infected gets to choose next or it's random. So basically need to find the virus/scum quickly to stop it spreading.

    So whoever is infected in that case is likely to stay quiet.

    So basically we're no further forward, except having an idea that the virus looks like it will spread unless blocked in some way each night.

    Guessing the virus can kill as well so we could lynch wrong and lose 3 people in one go really.
