Karamoko Dembele!!

Don't think he'll of handed a transfer request in ffs he's one of the most sort after u18 players in Britain, * would of been bidding for him weeks ago if he was unhappy his agent would of put it out there.

Don't think he's physically ready for masses of games, wouldn't mind a start here or there against cup opposition or poorer sides at Parkhead, also think he's poor out of possession and that needs working on and i'm sure he's being told that, however he is more than ready to come on for cameo's in games where we are leading by 3 goals ect, however Lennon in both spells has been very poor in my opinion when it comes to giving players game time off the bench and in fringe games and if the lad only gets 10 minutes here or there I would understand his frustrations and other players, there is no need to keep the same players on past the hour mark when we are leading in games comfortably.

 

Needs to sign a new contract. Can't let him go for nothing.

Due to his age we will at the very least receive a development fee for him.

Obviously if he was under a longer contract we'd probably get more but I suspect he would only sign an extension if we gave guarantees of game-time and I'm not convinced we can do that right now. He has talent for sure but he still looks a good bit away from being a regular player for us, both physically and tactically.

 

He'll probably mess up his career if he leaves. Be better heading out on loan.

 

I hope he isnt getting ahead of himself, I think it's plainly clear something is going on behind the scenes because Lennon seems to be anxious to give him game time when personally I don't think he's even ready, no doubt we are the best place for him, I hope he gets on tomroo night and just keep the minutes tipping along for him . With the 5 subs he should be getting 15/20 minute cameos in most home games this season.

He'll not be held back if he's ready to play. Frimpong should be an example to him. He needs to show the hunger and outperform Forrest in training if he wants to play.

 

Frimpong makes dembele look like a primary kid and that's saying something.

 

At the moment it is just a rumour he has asked for a transfer. Until it comes from a much better source I'd be happy to give him the benefit of the doubt here.

With anyone with the sort of buzz going on around them Dembele has there's bound to be complications.

Found it strange that he was rumoured to have handed in a transfer request then hasn’t been on the bench since.

Don’t think he has been in the squad since the Kilmarnock game. Harper seems to have overtaken him at the moment.

Just wondering if he has picked up an injury or something as I didn’t believe the transfer request story.

I don't know, but I think his disappearance from the squad coincided with the schools starting back. Maybe his parents want him to concentrate on that as he's likely in his final year?

He’s too wee to make a significant impact, imo. He has that Paddy Roberts fast-dribbling-and-silky-play thing going on, which is very entertaining and easy on the eye, but I don’t think he’s going to evolve into anything exceptional that a lot of people think he is; his height, small stature and lack of physicality will greatly contribute to this, unfortunately. He’s too one-footed as well, imo. He’ll make it as a regular pro, but not at Celtic. I hope I am wrong, but this is my hunch.

 

He probably knows he won't get much game time this year anyways the way things are going currently. Has the makings of a decent player but not in the spl. Has shown glimpses in the 80 seconds he's had soo far though!.

 

Rumours of attitude/transfer requests at this age are damaging because you’ve got * that will believe it and message him saying all sorts.
