Great goal. Not as good as Haland's goal.

If they're looking to have a go at someone, then you'd have to say the performances of Mohamed Elyounoussi would warrant greater scrutiny.

"The Norwegian winger is yet to score in seven league appearances so far this season.

"He has started the last three matches on the bench and didn't get on at all against St Mirren last week.

"He doesn't look the same player we saw terrorising defences last season and Elyounoussi might well end up being the most high-profile casualty if Lennon persists with a 3-5-2 system. I just don't see where the on-loan Southampton star fits in.

He excelled last season in a 4-2-3-1 playing as a winger cutting in from the left. You can afford to do that when you've got a full-back bombing past you on the overlap."

Hes not really wrong. He hasn't impressed domestically so far this season and if we do persist with the 352 then he doesnt quite fit in

Great wee player on his day but he was never going to replace Sinclair’s goals and assists. Still think it was a mistake to let Sinclair go and it’s probably transpired that way as we’re now quite short in that position.

I'd play him No10. Behind Edouard and Ajeti.

Hes still quality and for me has to play. He isnt the kind of player who will benefit from being in and out of the side. Not that any would, but some react better.

    He wont I feel.

He played almost as many games for Basel in the 10 position as he did on the left. He scored less for Basel than he did at Molde, but his assists more than tripled at Basel. I'd give him a run of games in behind the strikers and see if it gives us any more fluidity. There's a very productive player in there if we can get it out of him.

Elyounoussi is definitely a casualty of the 3-5-2 system.

He isn't a LWB although he could probably get away with it domestically but even at that it's a square peg in a round hole.

He'd be ideal for the 10 but not at the expense of Christie dropping out the side (he offers too much for me). Ideally Brown would drop out and Christie could play as an 8 (and he'd still be as effective) however we all know Brown is going to start every game when he's fit.

Elyounoussi will probably get the nod in Europe when we play 4-2-3-1 but as @Mr Shelby mentioned I don't think he will react well to dropping in and out of the team. You can tell that he's one of those players that lacks sharpness when he's not getting a run of games.

I'm not a fan of adjusting systems just to fit personnel in however Elyounoussi is too good to sit on the bench every week.

How can you drop Christie with the goals and assists he provides?
