Nowhere near as bad as being made out to be, actually think he'll go on and have a pretty decent career.

That being said we don't need him at the moment and I'd imagine Aberdeen would want more for him than we'd be willing to pay so it's a non starter.

Think he's a good player, would certainly add missing bite to our midfield.

    Broony ain't getting any younger.

    Don't see it. Though.

As much as he is a raging current, he would deffo do a job for us. I think most people are dismissing him because of his family background.

We need to give Brown a rest and someone like him (or someone else) would help us win the 10 and rotate players.

I think it's more to do with the fact he's a distinctly average player. He puts himself about a bit but not much else. Whenever we play against them he doesn't get a touch of the ball.

Contrast that to the likes of McGinn who stood out like a sore thumb against us eg. Double at Parkhead,

sometimes you need that player who puts himself about and chucks a tackle in, Brown looks past it and someone
Like him could do a job for us.

I’m not saying I want him here but someone in that mold will help us.

I agree that you can always do with a player with a bit of dig but that shouldn't be the only thing they bring to the table.

Ferguson doesn't score regularly, doesn't have the killer pass in the final third, isn't particularly skillful. He's not a good fit for a team like us that will dominate possession in most games.

Turnbull for example can do everything Ferguson does and more.

All things could be said of Brown - even Brown in his peak.

If we were to get him, I'd view him as someone we could mould into a Brown replacement. Some may be wanting someone else, but we couldn't imagine that Brown would turn out the way he has.

Has anyone ever seen him have a good game against us, genuinely?

I can't ever remember him doing a thing against us..

Stick Connell in the sheep side and he'd shine more than a Ferguson..
