Having the exact same conversation with some pals the now, Bayern or Inter. Can't be * hearing that * Martin Tyler shouting about him.

I know where you're coming from but the other leagues in Europe have amped up their commercialisation in response to the EPL as they were dominating financially.

The EPL revolution with Oligarch and Oil state money has been horrific for Celtic, where we could once compete we now lose players to tiny clubs propped up by Sky Sports money that is being disproportionately attributed.

If Messi left Barca for City, the amount of self-aggrandising from the EPL and the media would be nauseating.

The EPL revolution is now a European one, there is literally zero difference.

Hope he steers clear of the EPL. Overhyped, financially doped and up it’s own *.

Would like to see him at Inter.

The Euro leagues went that way in reaction to the EPL, lest they'd have been left behind.

UK-based Celtic fans can't impact the revenue and demand for Telefonica's Spanish deal, Sky Deutschland's German deal or BeInsports French deal but we can impact the EPL where our money is disproportionately being funneled to, to the long-term detriment of Celtic.

Maybe I'm being unrealistic but I try to participate as little in it as possible these days.

Sadly I think they will go ‘all-in’ to get him... hopefully the man has some scruples and also hates mancys...

Personally I think he should go to AC Milan ...

They’ll need a good striker to replace Zlatman..

    (when he comes to Celtic)

I don’t really care which club he goes to tbh. I’ll still watch him as he’s the GOAT.

The catalyst is immaterial, you can’t take the moral high ground about the EPL and not the rest when they are 2 cheeks of the same *.

I don’t GAF about the EPL in general either, although City and Liverpool have both been entertaining sides for a couple seasons now.

    Christ some demands.

Easier buying you a PSG season ticket.

No moral high ground, I know they're all trying to claw as much cash as possible but the only way we can instigate change is by giving it a bye.

It's not even just Sky Sports, BBC pay more to Lineker in a salary each year than the whole Scottish Sportscene budget. Obscene.

The more that we participate in it, the longer it will go on for.
