Would like to see something like this. Won’t happen though as some players won’t be dropped regardless of form. Really hoping Welsh can get at least get in the squad as I was impressed with him on his debut v Hamilton but have never seen him since.

Got to be two up top from the start and play with a far higher tempo. If a team sits deep we need to do our best to turn their defence and get crosses and cut backs in to the box and have runners from midfield to get on the end of them.

There are far too many in our team content to knock the ball side to side killing any tempo in our attacking play. In wide areas we need to work overlaps to set up crossing opportunities.

Also the shooting from distance has to work the keeper far more than it did yesterday and follow in on this for any scraps.

No more timid displays where most look frightened to do anything other than pass sideways after four or five touches. It is always a worry when you don’t freshen up your attacking options ahead of a new season particular given we play the same teams 3 to 5 times a season (including cups).

On top of this no more shambolic defending which is the only way to describe what we have seen from our CBs in the first two games.

If we play a 4-2-3-1 again at another tight pitch with a side happy to camp in....then look forward to more * coming..

Watched the first 30 odd minutes yesterday of st Mirren.... absolute pish.. but they will have 10 men behind the ball and will double up on our wingers so slow sideways passing isnt going to work.. 3 at the back and 2 up top is a must...

Going to be the same kind of game. Astro park, 10 players behind the ball and St Mirren hitting it long to Obika.

Centre backs needs to be at it from the get go.

Midfield needs to be a lot more dynamic and creative. Brown out and Ntcham in with McGregor playing as a 6.

Need a lot more from Forrest and Moi in the wide areas. Need to see them take their man on and go past him.

Try something just a tiny bit different than usual. If it doesn't work it can easily be adjusted.

Let McGregor support the strikers, Brown basically play as a 4th defender and Ntcham control the tempo.

    3-0 job done.

Wonder if we'll make the St Mirren striker look like Lewandowski.

Hopefully we can keep a cleansheet, going 2-0.

Can’t stand that flat feeling the day after we’ve dropped stupid points....

Chance for the lot of them to redeem themselves at least as far as goal difference goes..... no excuses.... get the points ... get a few goals and put the fear up every side waiting to play us.

Thing is I trust him to perform better in the formation then I do Elyounoussi which is why he'd be starting for me

Name a winger that's had a good performance on that surface for us in the last few years?

Forrest will be fine for us.

Every game this season is a cup final for sides playing us.

As I posted elsewhere it isnt just the Huns who want to be famous for stopping 10IAR.

Need to seriously up it. We normally get a reaction from this group of players so hoping for the same.
