That’s just crazy talk mate. Had a bad game against Livi last season and never looked back after that. Every player is entitled to an off day.

Problem is unless we sign a forward before the game we won't have a striker on the bench if we play two up front which is a * joke in the first place.
I like the 3-5-2 formation but unless a forward is signed it will be Eddie up front by himself as can't take the risk if one gets injured during the game .

I had an astro turf pitch at my school and totally understand what it’s like to play on. Myself and everyone else I knew all preferred a good quality grass pitch. As you say it’s not the ideal surface for dribbling etc. I still think that Forrest and Elyounoussi could have created more chances from deliveries from outwide and forward passes. They just didn’t seem to get on the ball enough to affect the game. Kilmarnock did make it difficult for us to be fair.

Lennon did leave it far too long to make the changes though. I think we were all screaming for changes to be made at least for the second half when they should have changed it up before half time really.

I just think we need to learn how to deal with them as we know what to expect. The likes of Kilmarnock and Livi never change their approach, but neither do we!

The best football we played is when we had McGregor Christie and rogic in midfield we were battering teams as the ball was getting moved forward so quickly and it was the opposite today so slow and predictable .

We played our best football last season with 2 up front, why have we gone back to one? Is that us admitting already we can’t rely on a guy we paid nearly £4m for in January?

    Really important game already tbh.

I agree with that mate I remember 3 games we had they 3 in midfield we battered Dundee 5-0, killie 5-1 and hearts 5-0, but as per usual after the 3rd game big Tam was injured

he wasn’t even on the bench today so a take it he must be injured, only player who seems to get injured even when he isn’t playing

I guarantee we don’t drop our captain and play our best left winger as a number 10, that I guarantee.

That aside, I think we will blow them away. We need to be more creative in the final third though.

Lennon said he needs games because he started slow last season too.

    Dropping him wouldn’t help anyone.

Not the team I'd play but I think he'll give them another chance. Think it'll be the same type of performance and we will shade it 1 or 2 nil.

    I'd play
    Barkas
    El Hamed Julien Welsh Taylor
    Soro
    Forrest Calmac Ely
    Dembele
    Edouard

I'd go with this but be ready to hook Taylor for Boli.
