That's what I meant mate. I don't want it to turn into a Brown bashing though because they were all poor

It worked though mate, had we played in Europe like that against a team with far better football players than us and got a 1-1 draw, you’d be pretty happy

St Mirren wlll do exact same on Wednesday

His stats from last season were incredible n he’ll hit those heights again, worst performer for me today tho mate, 5 yards too deep every time we went forward

Rogic was a miss in a game like this, taking it in tight spaces and creating something. Forrest was poor today no doubt but Elyounoussi was just as bad, but gets no where near the stick Forrest gets and Forrest over the course of the season will contribute more than Elyounoussi will. Need a big hard strong center half as Julien and Ajer can't cope against anyone with strength.

We need to look at bringing in a ball playing 10, a solid centre half.

Absolute drivel. Killie didnae even have to get out of second gear to collect a point.
    I wouldn't give 1 single celtic player a 5.
Id drop Jules too. He was a bombscare. Ajer eventually rubbed off him in the 2nd half. Not one challange on the Killie front player.
The pair of them, couldn't handle a brush today.

They struggled with an average big guy with little else other than size.

How can you have 70% possession and be so Pish ?

Almost like you’d have to try to not score with that much of the ball..

This was always going to be a grind. Can’t be giving away stupid penalties as they will make all the diffference every time.

As others have said that was one of the worst attacking performances I've seen from us since the 4 nil game at Tynecastle. A complete fluke of a goal and we didn't trouble their keeper once.

We have to continue with the 3-5-2 from last season. We were absolutely dominant with that. Get a CB and ST in soon, we cant afford to wait.

Shockingly bad performance. Once again Jullien is bullied by a big striker, Forrest was posted missing, Edouard *, Elyounoussi *, Ajer *, Aw *.

Second game of the season and already everyone looks like they can't be *. Fair enough, Killie put everyone behind the ball, but still. We've got the players to break 'em down (or even take chances from outside the box which didn't happen enough 'til late on).

Talk of what players are to blame misses the point, that was a game where our system didn't come off at all and we couldn't switch tacks quick enough to make a difference.

Time to go back to the 3-5-2. Unstoppable with it last season.

We can't play on Astro turf but we should be able to change the way we play to take the surface into consideration. I'm certainly not too worried as it's early and it's out the way now so we just make sure we drop nothing on grass. I've said with losing jozo we need another centre half. I'd drop ajer bcoz as people know I don't rate him at centre half bcoz he's nowhere near physical enough for the position but the rest need to play at a higher tempo with a higher press, the good thing is we have lots of options so I expect a right good reaction against St mirren.

Tbh it’s the killie v Celtic thread and every one on here has waxed lyrical about our performances up to now but their not beyond criticism when to a man every single player in the team was absolutely * today, 1 shot on target v a very average killie side is absolutely shocking for a team going for 10 in a row, plastic pitch or not, sideway passes with the odd long ranger miles of target, their keeper could have went off at half time and we were never going to score

When a team defend with two banks of four then you need a Sutton or Hartson type of forward putting crosses in the box .
But we tried pass the ball through the middle when there was no room and Kilmarnock easily blocked the ball .
But the two wingers were woeful today done nothing and theirs no back ups for those positions which is a worry .
