Keep the faith brother, i think the level we were at last season was pretty decent , yes i wont be happy if we don’t get a decent cb in and maybe a left back but we have time , the huns always get players in early and hasn’t exactly worked out for them

Don't think he's as good as he's made our to be, but would run riot up here probably. I'd look at Ryan Fraser, it would take a big wage, but no fee surely comes into consideration.

If it’s true that the only offer on the table is £50,000 a week from Crystal Palace then he’s certainly not as out of reach as it seemed a couple of months ago when he was apparently going to be offered £100k+ by the likes of Arsenal. He’s the type we need from the point of view that he can operate on either flank.

If that figure is true, we should certainly test the water. Crystal Palace would be, at best, a sideways move for him.

Go to Palace and be well paid or come to Celtic and be adored by the fans, win leagues, European football every season, and still get an obscene wage.

Football players really do make me scratch my head.

Yes you are remembering it wrong. No it did not happen.

We didn't have any zero attendances and plenty of folk went to exactly as many games as they do now. In fact I can't think of any of the Celtic fans that I know personally that didn't go during the Ronny seasons.

So we never closed part of the stadium? Must have imagined that.

Strikers we have apparently bid for/being in talks with:

    Toney
    Ajeti
    Fletcher
    Taylor

Why have we not got a deal done for one of them yet? I’d actually be ok if none of this was in the media but it is, and it’s making us look amateurish. Jumping from one target to the next.

STs sold out, merchandise records broke, not many people asking for refunds on missed games, the fans have backed the club to the hilt. It’s about time the club showed they mean business and acted with conviction.

I want a CB in, not a striker. We have goal-scoring midfielders and wingers, but very few natural CB-s.

I’d like to see us look more at the young French/European market instead of English based players. I know Lennon has always preferred that but as a club we’ve had so much success with these players I think it’s a better road to go.

Would'nt be surprised if we announced a CB out of nowhere... weird there's barely been a link though. Hopefully someone experienced and bring in the boy Ryan Porteuos from hibs, i think that boy could be an international regular in a couple years, far more about him than that caravan McKenna imo..

That’s a decent shout to be fair. Need someone who is ready for the here and now but also brining in a prospect like Porteous and letting him learn off the likes of Jullien, Elhamed etc can only benefit his development.

We need 2 CBs IMO - not that the Huns are the benchmark by any means but they have 5 CBs and we have two. We are clearly under resourced in that position.
