There was a moment in the first half where the ball was on the near side heading back to the halfway line and the usual pass is across the back to Jullien/Ajer to start again

He shaped to play that ball but turned sharp and drove forward in field, absolutely doing the boy who was tracking him. Looked so simple but it was some move, the Hamilton player, or I, didn't see coming at all. Wee things like that are just class.

Schoolboy error there, forgot about Frimpong initials, lol. Jamesy was * in the 1st half but improved greatly in 2nd half.

Looking a shadow of his former self. Needs to buck his ideas up fast.

Hardly needs to buck up his ideas was poor, but so we're they all.

He's not better than Rogic, but he's good to have in the team and offers plenty of running power.

We should be mixing it up in midfield.

He needs dropped. Aye he got the goal, but I think any of us on here could have saved that free kick.

For an apparent number 10, he gives the ball away far too much and his decision making is poor.

Even though he's clearly a technical player, for me he still lacks that extra bit of guile or genius of a Rogic to play as a 10. Christie has flashes of brilliance no doubt but gives the ball away a bit too much still.

Overall he offers more sitting beside McGregor I think.

He is so much better as a box to box midfielder. Hes good enough to play attacking mid but ideally we would have someone of Rogic's ilk on there, preferably Rogic himself if he was ever fit.

    Like him

I'd love it if sometimes he would just get the ball under control instead of trying to do a trick or move with his first touch

Defo shouldn’t be dropping Christie. Only midfielder willing to drive with the ball and try the hard pass. Taking him out the team would zap our midfield of energy and creativity.

We need to stop playing Brown every single week and let McGregor play as a no.6 with Christie and Ntcham more advanced.

People saying he should be played deeper are completely wrong. Madness to suggest moving one of the main goal threats backwards.
One of the biggest issues today was that we moved him to the right side from his usual 10 position.
We missed someone with creativity and penetration in that position, which limited us to crosses into the box And long shots when they sat deep.

Think that's harsh. When ur the creative fulcrum of a team it's not about keeping things ticking over, it's about taking risks and being creative. With that comes the chance u will give the ball away. Seen Bruno Fernandes getting praise for this exact same thing recently yet Christie is getting hammered.

Agree, its other midfielder needs dropping before him.
