    Statistics can be used in any way.

    Using seasonal European stats from 15/16, 17/18 and 19/20 to try to portray a linear decline without any context ie. varying quality of opposition, team mates and playing styles of 3 managers, seems pretty pointless.

    As he gets older he will lose a little pace but that doesn't vindicate your point that he is "miles off it at this level"...the best team we played last season was Lazio by a distance and Broony excelled in both of our victories against them. A masterclass in when to press the opposition and when to maintain team shape and make it difficult for Lazio to play triangles and exploit the space.

    Aye really don't know what kind of positive you could take out a right pumping. They have a cup final coming up in a few days though so would imagine they'll want to keep their players protected.

    Tbf mate, it’s not 2015, but from January 2020 till lockdown Griffiths was a first pick alongside Eduard as a dual strike force and probably the most prolific in front of goals we had been since start of the invincible season

    and had he stayed fit during lockdown he would definitely have been in starting 11 alongside Eddy
