    I don't watch so much English football these days but he was a great keeper when he was younger. He was amazing at Birmingham and then at City for a few seasons.
    His confidence must be absolutely shot if he's declined as much as is being made out here.

    Nah it's because hes from england and was the real golden boy so then gets an unconscious level of unfair hate towards him. Not like forrester who never really got picked so became one of the boys. Everyone will deny it though. He was absolutely top notch and has suffered with a massive confidence blow. Think he would be a good signing if we cant get Forrester. As a keeper should be in his prime.

    IMO its all down to how much Hart would cost us(wages included).

    I think he has lost all confidence and is a bit of a risk but if the figures were rite he could be worth the gamble.
    FF was low on confidence/form when at southhampton and struggled to get a game but came to us and has in general being great for us.

    Facts are we win most out league games pretty easy and its an enviroment where keeprs can build confidence in them selfes pretty quick and maybe we may see the same with Hart.

    When pep declares you not good enough, the holy * of football management must be right, so other teams take note. The same guy who's spent £50m about 8 times on defenders and still got pish signings.

    Hart isn't as bad as some seem to think but there's no doubt his form has dipped a long way. It's possible a move could rejuvenate him(a bit like Scott Sinclair coming here) but it would be a big risk and given the importance of the season to come it's a chance I wouldn't take. The AEK Athens goalkeeper Barkas has been linked, don't know a lot about him other than he looked decent against us in the CL qualifiers.

    Its a different risk taking on a keeper that needs rejuvenated. If a player like Sinclair * up, misses a few sitters etc, it's not the end of the world, and there's other people around him that can step up. If the keeper's dropping everything and letting in cheap goals frequently, doesn't matter what happens up front. Forster needs replaced with a keeper of similar or better quality, and while Hart had some great years, he's not the answer now.
