On their day who is the better player between Ntcham and Rogic?

Rogic for me. Although I do like Ntcham. Christie is the most consistent and likely first pick in the CAM.

Of course we would be stronger with both Ntcham and Forster but there's no guarantee that we will get Forster in any case.We may need to sell an asset to fund any incomings, it's our model. We bring these young guys in develop over 2/3 years then sell on.

Nobody is talking about forcing people out the door, I'm sure Ntcham will only make a move that he himself fancies but if the financials and opportunity was right, I don't think he'd be against it. By most accounts he was upset when the rat was blocking interest from Portugal for him.

Time will tell how things pan out.

Only problem is Rogic day was about 2 years ago. Injuries have held him back big time over last couple of years.

    For me a midfield of
    McGregor
    Ntcham. Christie

Would be * immense. We would absolutely skoosh the league with that 3.

Yeah I agree, very different players but Ntcham can do far more; can tackle, can go box to box, is physically imposing, aswell as score and create

I think Ajer is a certainty to go. 2 years left on his deal, no sign of wanting to sign a new one, lot of clubs interested and talk of £20m value. For me he kinda ticks all the boxes that the board look at for 1 to sell.

Don't really want to lose anymore than 1 of the main core of players with 10 on the line.

Yeah I've heard that before about Boyd but the reality is Henrik scored about 160 more career goals.

Fraser Forster is back on the South coast for crunch talks for Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl and the club hierarchy which could decide his future within a week.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon is desperate to secure a deal for the giant keeper – permanent or loan – to bring him back for the push for a record 10-in-a-row.

Ex-England No1 Forster’s heart is at Parkhead following a sensational return on loan last season which saw him perform magnificently to help inspire a ninth straight title, Betfred Cup glory and progress beyond the Europa League group stage.

But the 32-year-old still has two years left of a hugely lucrative contract at St Mary’s which he is not prepared to completely write off.

I'd take a straight swap. As great as he can be Ntcham makes too many poor decisions for me. Forster is far more effective for us. Would be fantastic to get FF and £5m on top to pay him mind.

He's on a reported £100k a week at Southampton for the next 2 years, which makes a permanent deal difficult unless Southampton reach some sort of agreement. I doubt he'd walk away from millions of £s when he's in the twilight of his career and will never earn that sort of money again.

If I'm wrong then I'll be delighted.

It'll be more spl goals he scored over 14 or 15 seasons. Henrik only had 6 seasons in the spl

Ntcham better than Rogic is nearly as bad as Boyd over Henke, ffs.

    Both are no contests.

And in the ex players this goes tomorrow.

Starting to get bored of this transfer already, our window isn't even opened, put a bid in and if the refuse then move on, this isn't the season to * about, and I'll say again he isn't the difference between them and us.

While I appreciate your point Forster is probably a lot more valuable to us today than ntcham, it's not just about that. Ye the priority probably has to be 10iar but that doesn't take away the obligation on the board to be financially competent. Ntcham is coming into his prime, he's easily worth 15 mill in prem money, Forster is third choice goalie at a club that are paying him 100k a week to play with the u23s or 85k to play with us.hes 32 and has few years left on the Southampton contract. Ntcham is probably our only true natural box to box.

You can't compare ntcham v rogic/Christie/Turnbull. Ntcham is a completely different type of player than those above. Of course rogic or Christie will score more goals, they sit directly behind the striker.

Not in the slightest. He's been inconsistent since the day he signed.
