I use a mixture, tend to be using mostly contactless through my mobile at the moment but some places like the butcher's is only taking cash.

I use cash as much as possible only buying online with a card. People are far too nosey as it is, it's no one business bar my own what I buy and look at and that's the way it should be. Tracking your every move is NOT right imagine if we did that to them they'd go nuts. Unfortunately society is changing to no cash at all another awesome way to watch your habits and every move. Back in the day they were gonna bring in an ID card that everyone had to buy which was scrapped thankfully but they soon fixed that with people buying their own one a Mobile phone, payed by ourselves, runs 24/7 has built in GPS and knows every move and conversation you make.

Did I go too far !

I was always a balance between cash and card before. I've used cash once since CV19 kicked off.

I wouldn't have an issue if we moved over to cashless full-time.

In Sweden half of the businesses don't take cash anymore. It is *. You as costumer get absolutely nothing from it. It is absolutely impossible to buy a public transport ticket with cash. If you are a tourist you are totally * over.

You could say you use both of them, the card to make the lines and the cash to snort

Like @Aidan O’Shea said I would hate to see a cashless society. I try to always have a bit of cash on me but I do use card a bit more than I would like. Pay for everything online with PayPal because they guarantee money back if a situation arises.

More often I use contactless with my phone, ridiculously handy.

I initially made a conscious switch to try and save money. If I had cash it would burn a hole in my pocket and I would hit the vendy machine etc.

Still do a bit of both though.

Very rarely. I haven't used cash at all post-lockdown.

Went to Sweden last year and pretty much everyone paid contactless. Even the homeless. It's pretty much cashless.

Think that was part of The Big Plan Sean , create a pandemic to kill all the old folk off ( steady ! ) open everything too ealy , get the Herd Theory going then finally get cash out the system so they can fleece who,s left senseless and they wont be able to keep track of it ..... or was that Angus,s point all along .
Anyhoo i've a couple of chickens and a milking goat for sale if anybody wants them .. cash only please .
