Looks like Hart might be the fall back option if Southampton keep/price us out of a deal with FF,he’s not a bad option

Honestly think he’d be a disaster here.

Don’t think he’d be able to handle it at all.

Hart would definitely be a dodgy one and as far as goalkeepers go, you need someone who is reliable.

This could be a negotiation tactic as I read that Southampton are stalling on a deal for FF

What about the ex St Mirren keeper Vaclav Hladky he looked a good keeper now he is a free transfer I would rather have him as Joe Hart he is an accident waiting to happen he would not cope with the pressure up here.

I really thought he was going to end up at the huns. It's their MO. On a free so they can offer higher wages. TBH i would only see him as a back up but we have Bain. The St Mirren fans did love the guy.

Would like to think we've learned our lesson with signing Gk who have decent seasons with * spfl teams. Mark Brown, Lukaz Zaluska, Scott Bain. They look OK due to the volume of shots they are having to deal with but very few have the ability to step up to become number 1 at a huge club.

A guy who's had a decent 18 months at 1 of the worst teams in the league Vs a guy who's won 2 PL titles, got over 100 clean sheets in EPL and 75 caps for England

I'd choose Hart every day of the week

Does anyone really think Hart will have the motivation to play with us? Haha whenever he speaks in the media seems a bit of a *. He won’t be on pennies either so will be expecting more of the same. If he wanted to perform under us no doubt he’d be great. But can’t see him being arsed, he’ll see the league as beneath him I’d imagine.

Does no one want to give doohan or hazard the chance to step up? Many times we missed the chance to bleed in a young up coming keeper for an older experienced figure. Marshall, friedel, McGovern to name a few. Really think those two are cracking keepers for their ages

They can be 3rd choice but at an important stage in history nothing more. I don't think we can afford to put an inexperienced keeper in any league match next season.

    Joe Hart, meh.

No denying he WAS a top keeper 5 years ago or so. Is prone to an error or 2.

If he came here I would 100% trust Stevie Woods to do exactly what he's done with Forster, Gordon, Bain, Boruc etc.

Having said that I would prefer Forster back here without a doubt.

He couldn't get a game at Burnley so if he came up here with the can't be arsed mentality not only will he not play, he will be chased out of the East end

Hart has his flaws but under woodsy's coaching he could turn out to be a good one. Gordon is done imo

Joe hart is like Gordon comes off his line far too often and get caught out not good at saving free kicks either I’m hoping this is a tactic to get Southampton into action

He is a weird one, if he can be arsed then you know great. With Fraser you knew he was coming with a point to prove. Maybe it is a confidence thing and some wins with Celtic would bring that back.

I really like hazard and doohan, they have to be seen as the future otherwise what's the point of acquiring all this young talent, that said a 10iar season isn't the time to be throwing either of them in. Hart I feel with a bit of love would do very well, he's prone of the odd mistake but a lot of is erratic goalkeeping was come from his spectacular fall from England /man city No1. I don't want this Forster scenario dragging all summer, he's obviously the preference but Hart might not be a bad alternative for a season or two if the wages and attitude are right
