    Report: Celtic Glasgow offers five million euros for WACs Shon Weissman

    The rumor of an interest from the Scottish cult club Celtic Glasgow in Shon Weissman is nothing new. However, Sky mentioned a specific sum in the course of their Bundesliga broadcast, which is in the room with the Israeli striker.


    With his fall-back goal against Sturm Graz, Weissman made even more (positive) noise about himself, even though the 23 goals in 23 games should already have done this enough.

    Unsurprisingly, the name of the 24-year-old appears in numerous notebooks of international clubs. According to Sky, Celtic Glasgow is even ready to put a full five million euros on the table for the striker.

    A sum at which Wolfsberger couldn't possibly say no to you. Record sales so far is Dever Orgill for around 800,000 euros to Ankaragücü, so the WAC would reach completely new spheres.

    I know if we are going for two up front we defo need a few proven strikers. Plus Griffs fitness cant always be relied upon.

    Eddy will leave eventually, Weismann may not be a bad replacement and with Griff knocking 30 we need to see replacements or help them gel before they leave.

    Sort of similar to Sporar, where he had a number of unexceptional seasons at pretty lowly levels, then everything clicked and he's went on a purple patch of scoring all the time.

    Anyone scoring goals as regularly as he is right now, will bring him to the attention of clubs. Just like Sporar though I think we might end up missing out, if we're competing with continental clubs.

    If the EPL is his eventual goal though then we can point to a clear pathway to it, through Celtic. Do the business for us for 2/3 seasons and eventually you'll get there.
