Thanks Red, possibly the curried egg and onion beans that done it.

My wife likes nature, especially trees, but isn't as enthusiastic about birdlife as my daughter and I. I went into a shop yesterday and she sat in the car. When I came out she was SO excited. She'd just watched a Pied Wagtail feeding it's chick. The young bird was following the * around trying to get food. She thought it was superb to watch. Even people who are not too bothered about wildlife love it when they see it.

Fantastic picture of the kingfisher, I. Really elusive wee things so you did brilliantly.

Nice choice, Johnie. If you ever decide to take it up competitively and enter power farting tournaments, I can recommend cabbage as a pre match snack. :56:

Thanks John, I went out this morning to Balisodare falls to try and get a decent picture of a swallow but it’s near impossible, they’re unbelievably fast on the wing so there was no joy on that front but I did get to watch what you’re daughter described, three wee wagtail fledglings following the parent around when it came to them with food, I’ll post a couple of pictures when I upload them later.

Not much in the way of wildlife today on my walk. Far too windy! Still a beautiful day all the same 47FDB655-F63D-4354-B4E6-5588C8EF5909.jpeg

Not a great day for pictures today, birds didn't stray too close.

Yeah I couldn't get any small birds at all. The camera was shaking in the wind too as I was having to use max zoom to capture images. Hence some of the blurry images. I will eventually get this sorted.

This wee fella is my favourite bird. He has managed to evade the radar of the absolute melter next door who patrols his airspace with the tenacity of a North Korean border guard and has set up a nest in the gable wall. Here he is on one of our trees waiting to fly another sortie.

Looking forward to it Johnie. I know what you mean about Swallows goo friend. My daughter has tried for years to get a Swallow in flight. Not one photo has she got. She's been close to throwing her camera away through frustration when trying to gat a shot of them.
