That Depeche Mode when we score!!
10 years ago I took my 15 year old nephew on one of my Classic Wildlife walks(He is a Massive Celtic Fan btw).
Yes we went to my Favourite North Wales Valleys and to my favourite Hill anywhere Merlin Hill as I call it.
First after the initial 3 miles I spotted my nephew’s first ever Hen Harrier, ever so fine views of a stunning Male. Then after about an hour of scanning we got good views of a displaying pair of Goshawks.
Then about an hour later as went through sizable Steep Forestry we got a Sensational close up of a massive female Goshawk fly right past us. Binocs were useless that close:84: And yes it was the first time my nephew has seen Goshawk today.
Then down the next Valley we were delighted by a pair of Ring Ouzel. Then up onto Merlin Hill we went and fittingly we were rewarded cracking views of a Male Merlin.
Then down the next Valley we went ready for the long slog down to the Bus Stop we caught a great view of another Male Hen Harrier at a place I call Zulu Hill:84:
Oh also on that day the Ring Ouzels And Merlin were also firsts for my nephew.
    Yes another Grand Walk

A few from this mornings walk, there was two Red Squirrels scampering around the trees, they're a joy to watch in these gloomy days.

Fair play Sioux, take your time and enjoy the experience, it can get a bit mind boggling at times:43: but you have the enthusiasm to get over that so keep learning and it will all come together in good time :50:

Not that I'm jealous or anything good friend, but I never seen a Ring Ouzel. Along with a Jay, it's close to the top of my list of birds I
want to see. Your Corona walk sounds superb Cider

Clearing a few things away and I came across some of my daughter Caroline's badges that she bought on our various birdwatching trips. Thought our banter group would like to see them.
