    This is a thread for members to stick up gestures or acts of goodwill from individuals or companies through this time period along with a link or details of what they’ve done.

    By the time we’re out the other end of this mess we’ll all know who the real good guys are and can buy from them or use their services giving them the chunk of karma back that they deserve.

    I’ll kick off firstly with Celtic Football Club, £150k pledged to support the most vulnerable in our community;

    Got to admit, I normally hate Piers Morgan for all the pish he spews every morning on ITV. But this pandemic has shown he can use his platform for good.

    Constantly taking the PM to task, and taking down morons like that Wetherspoons *.

    [IMG]

    Maybe the belligerent, ignorant * he plays on breakfast telly is just a character he puts on. Because in this time of crisis he has been a good *.

    I actually like some of their stuff, their fresh pizzas and * are good.

    It’s too dear to do a big shop but I use the one up the top of the road almost daily for wee bits.

    Morrisons and Tesco are offering folk temporary jobs, and I’ve read some folk are applying then starting work the next day.

    I know this is completely random, but their pizzas are probably the best of the supermarket own brands. Meatball marinara was good!

    Brilliant. They should all be doing this and be their first and foremost priority. If what the government has offered of paying 80% of wages and the various tax reliefs and loans are true, then the businesses should be looking to utilise these and keep the staff. This could be for two weeks or two months, or more. They need to stand by staff and not their own pockets.
