I wouldn't be surprised if he's got a 3 mill release clause or something..

He's done well by his club as he could've quite easily no signed another deal..

I just feel 3 mill or whatever they'll be looking for again because of his new deal...is too much for how long he's been out with a dodgy knee that needed an op..

I think they will be looking to sell next year, they know they are not getting 3m for a player who doesn't even start surely?

Just playing devil's advocate, and I know they're not comparable, but try to remember that a good reason that we were able to land Henrik and VVD was because they'd had bad injuries, and none of the big clubs were willing to shell out on the risk... if a full medical showed that the knee issues looked fully resolved I'd consider it pretty irrelevant in a lad that young

True about Henrik to be fair but a boy who's only really had 6 month's professional football in his career to date...is definitely risky..

Didn't know Van Dijk had a bad injury? Thought he was in the Eredivsie team of the year as well at Gronigen..

With no games scheduled he has undergone a second knee operation to have the pins removed from the first.

Larsson had a fairly successful career prior to us winning cups a d a bronze world cup medal , Turnbull has had half a season. We need to see more of this guy before shelling out.

I misread that the operation was planned, thought it another injury.
Still don't want him at Celtic though. Dont think we've seen enough of him for long enough. A lot of his goals last season were sclaffs and miss hits

Can only imagine his goal tally if he strikes the ball true then!

He's a decent player with a lot of potential. I'd be hugely surprised if we're not monitoring his situation.

I'd agree, especially if he's a year further into his contract now... was just saying that I wouldn't bin the lad because he'd an injury, like some people seem to be doing.

Been keeping tabs on him throughout the whole of his rehab..

He admitted it on open goal and his disappointment of no getting the move..

Only way I can see us getting him is if we punt Nicham. And for about 1M

They're never getting the 3 mill for him..

They've had a nightmare. Lost out on the 3. Missed the full season pretty much. Now no football for ages. They'll be losing a lot as well. Signed a new contract no doubt on improved terms?

Now they'll be lucky to get 1.5 for him..

If he comes back and proves it hasn’t effected him he’ll be a Celtic player, nothing surer.

Not sure about that he was willing to go to Norwich instead of us until they pulled out. Was that not also because of knee?

If we signed him he'd be good competition to Craig Gordon has the dullest player at club, such a monotone voice. Hope he gets fits & recaptures form prior to knee injury.

He never had a medical with them. The chat was ( I think) that they were wanting to sign him and put him out on loan straightaway and he didnt want that
