    I'm assuming this one has flew under the radar a bit as noone has posted..

    Last week we were linked in Marca over in Spain, with 19 year old Rodrigo Riquelme from Atletico Madrid. Free transfer potentially in the summer - Huns also linked.

    I think the fact he ripped their U20s to bits and we likely had someone there watching it, would mean this time the double link makes sense.

    I wonder, if the link is legit, if Anita Marcos has played any part in it?
    It isn't often we get linked to Spanish players, and less often the links are even legit.
    But both Marcos and Riquelme are the same age and I dare say may be pals - both playing for their respective Atletico teams. Wonder if she will have encouraged the link/thought to Riquelme?


    Again, if remotely true.
    Would/could be an interesting way to try sell Glasgow and Celtic to the male players, if we can have an easier time of enticing the womens players over who in turn talk us up?

    CELTIC are keeping tabs on Atletico Madrid winger Rodrigo Riquelme

    Hoops scouts have watched the Spanish kid, 20, in action for Atletico's development side this season.


    And Parkhead boss Neil Lennon is believed to be aware of the highly-rated youngster's availability.

    Riquelme made his La Liga debut as a sub against Eibar in September after catching the eye of Diego Simeone




    He also came off the bench in January's Copa Del Rey defeat away to minnows C Leonesa.

    The Madrid-born starlet scored six goals and assisted seven in 28 games for Atletico's B side before the campaign was suspended.

    Despite making his first-team breakthrough, Riquelme is in the final few months of his contract - meaning Celts could get him for nothing.

    But with the season currently in lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis, the Scottish champions have no plans to enter discussions at this stage and will instead monitor his situation closely.
