Be gutted if I couldn't get to the remaining games this season but the lives of vulnerable people outweighs that. So if the games are behind closed doors so be it. Just get the * won

Coronavirus could lead lift on 3pm broadcast ban with SPFL and SFA in talks over streaming

The SPFL and SFA are holding talks to allow Saturday 3pm games to be shown live despite the UK wide broadcast ban.

If the coronavirus outbreak results in supporters being banned from attending games for the rest of the season, then officials are already in talks to find ways for fans to still be able to watch games.

Talks have taken place with Sky and BT Sport already, according to STV.

If they can't show it on TV, they will look to stream games for supporters around the country.

Celtic will still manage to shut the streams down.

Think it’s inevitable that the virus is going to impact the rest of the season.

Just a matter of time before the SFA follow in the footsteps of the European leagues.

Will be gutting missing out on any games that are played behind closed doors.

I wonder if this has been a man made virus. The conspiracy theorist in me thinks. The way the world is going into meltdown over this. The world's going mad! When they start to cancel all major events for something that's meant to be less contageous and harmful than the common flu. What they not telling us? They'll be a pharmaceutical company out there waiting to make a killing.

The effect this has had on economies tells me otherwise. Companies are losing money, many companies have temporarily stopped hiring.

It’s not that they’re not telling people, it’s that people aren’t listening.

With everything we know so far, this is much deadlier than the seasonal flu in percentage terms. You’re looking at a historical mortality rate of 0.1% vs 4% as things stand. That 4% figure should be revised down but experts are still predicting a mortality rate of 1-2%.

We’re taking far more drastic measures to contain this than we are the seasonal flu, which is partly due to the above, but in the main due to what we don’t know. As much as I do think the media have contributed to a level of hysteria, I do believe that the worst case scenario is pretty horrific, and we seem to be facing a pretty stark tradeoff between limiting the spread of this and restrictions on everyday life.

It is not less contagious and harmful than flu. I as said before would ignore figures of mortality rate bandied about until the duts is allowed to settle, but it is certainly more than flu at this point. Thing is I indeed think reactions are way, way over the top

Typical SFA and SPFL, why wouldnt they just change the kick off times to 1pm? or even change days.

    1pm Saturday
    5.30pm Saturday
    7.30pm Saturday
    12pm Sunday
    2pm Sunday
    4pm Sunday

    Midweek

    5.30pm Tuesday and Wednesday
    2 x 7.30pm Tuersday and Wednesday

    Every game on TV.

But the economic system is * anyway, totally banjaxed since the 2008 crash.

Using cv as an excuse would be an easy way to reset the entire system without the threat of the ordinary man turning to the pitchforks.

A better question would be can we win the league without our international players if this gets much worse why can't we let those chosen to go to euros to go and hit the remaining games with a depleted squad

    GK - Foster
    RB - Frimpong
    CB - Jullien
    CB - Welsh
    LB - Hayes
    CM - Ntcham
    CM - Brown
    RW - Karamo
    LW - Shved
    St - Edourde

Nobody really knows with any certainty right now. But in the US the more optimistic projections I have heard suggest the that Covid 19 is about twice as deadly as the seasonal flu but again nobody really knows for sure at this point.

If Christie, McGregor and Forrest are off to the Euro’s then that means Elhamed, Bitton and Ajer won’t be going.
