I finally got around to watching El camino, I enjoyed it very good. Thank goodness for Better Call Saul which fills that hole that breaking bad left.

Struggled to get into it tbh, but still wanted to watch it until the end.

It has a lot more depth than most western audiences will realise. I watched some analysis videos about it afterwards and read up on it and it's a fantastic portrayal of Korean society. Definitely a 9/10 for me, personally.

Went to see Dark Waters on Saturday. Really interesting film which is a true story, would give it 7.5/10

Watched Superbad all the way through for the first time. Thought for the early part of the film Jonah Hill was unreal. Had my stomach aching with laughter. Oscar worthy performance. 8/10

I’m sure this sub will be getting more replies in the next couple of weeks :giggle1:

I watched The Hunt the other day, and was disappointed in it. Seemed like after an hour they didn’t really have much of a script left and rushed it all

I can't quite make my mind up about The Gentlemen. I'm not sure if I loved it or hated it.

Pros: Hugh Grant and Charlie Hunnan are terrific in it. Plenty of laughs. First-class use of the word '*'. Generally good mindless entertainment.

Cons: I thought 'The Toonies' storyline was just plain daft (yup, I get the clue is in their name, but come on... !). I was waiting on Charlie Hunnan's mild-mannered 'Ray' to lose it ultra-spectacularly (he almost got there, but it wasn't epic enough). The story could have been much MUCH tighter. Not enough Colin Farrell. Jeremy Strong's 'Matthew' wasn't up to much.
