He's being played a role Kieran was never asked to play, think he is a great professial but lacks pace, if he had pace a lot of his mistakes he could prob cover and would be lot more dynamic going forward

Think he probably has the least amount of time on the pitch though. We weren’t exactly goal shy at the start of the season either though.

Strange that in quite a few of the games before today most people are saying he was one of our best performers and even MOTM at times then he has one poor game on an atrocious surface where it looked hard to stay on your feet never mind play football and quite a few others played poorly - Griff and Broony in particular gave the ball away a lot - and suddenly he's not good enough.

Aye was he no a big contender for motm last week v Kilmarnock? 1 poor game and let’s be honest, it wasn’t just him, but now he’s worse than Bolingoli?

Taylor has had a lot more good games that Boli. He’s also had less bad games than him. Therefore, that is why people will currently rate Taylor ahead of Boli.

For the amount of games both have played and for your comment here to be true, you’d need to assume Bolingoli has had considerably less than 10 good performances for us.

Bolingoli has definitely had less than 10 good performances for us. In my opinion, of course.

Thought he had his worst game for us. Would like to say the condition of the pitch played its part but that throw in cannot be down to the pitch. Everybody can have a poor game but Lenny should have subbed him much earlier.

In the first few minutes, he had an opportunity to skip past a player and totally showed how lacking in pace he is.

The guy was ran into the ground yesterday. In the first half everything was going down the left and he was expected to be up and back on that pitch?

He had so much mud on him it must have been like carrying a bag of cement. Don't think anybody had a good game but I don't think he was the worst.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt (the pitch looked really soft), but there’s no hiding the fact he looked awful yesterday.

Taylor's game isn't skipping by players the way KT did. What he can do is get the ball out his feet and put some decent crosses in. He has been our best LB this season so far and the hate is unjustified.

    Hes been decent for us.

I think hes a steady player...I dont think he will ever truly wow us but he could turn into a very dependable option. The pitch was shocking yesterday and there were a lot of occasions where he was being asked to do a lot down that side on his own, screaming for an option.

I would be surprised if we dont look at LB again in the summer.

He struggled big time against Wrights pace and power yesterday, heavy pitch and after a tough 90 mins on Thursday not too surprised he struggled.

All a learning experience for him, he’ll bounce back.

Bolingoli has been thrown under the bus, by lennon which is surprising when people like Simunovic singlehandedly * us outa europe.

'thrown under the bus' ? ...that's a Gerrard thing not the Celtic manager, as fer Jozo.. we should heve had the tie wrapped up in the first leg and although Jozo * up in the 2nd there are a lot more guilty parties than him.. so as so far as your claim of him 'singlehandedly * us out of Europe'.. grow up.

He does lack a bit of pace, but imo he makes up for it with his game sense and positioning. Plenty of the game's greatest LBs didn't have great pace.

The other issue is that he's being asked to play a different role, and he doesn't have the stamina for it. That can be worked on though, and once his fitness levels improve he'll be much better suited to the LWB position.

The main problem we have is that improving his fitness will take a lot of hard work, and we can't really do it at this stage of the season, where games are coming thick and fast and conserving energy is the prime focus.

Luckily we've got a few rotation options in that position, and hopefully we'll use them wisely. If we can get GT on an intensive cardio plan during the summer then hopefully he'll come back next season with an improved gas tank ready to cover the kind of distance we need in that area.

There was a good move yesterday where Forrest crossed over the pitch and linked up with Taylor, nearly scoring and drawing a corner. It was a wee glimpse of the kind of fluidity we should be seeing all over the park when we've got everyone at full fitness.
