He was our worst player by a distance, which is why Lennon took him off.

Blowing out of his * in his 14th appearance of the season also wasn’t a good look.

Let’s just say if Boli was subbed after having a shocker against Drey Wright we’d have a thread full of people saying he’s a bombscare.

Neither are bombscares is my main point, yet people seem to have tagged Bolingoli with it yet will make excuses for Taylor for whatever reason.

Wasn't his best ever game today, but one thing I will say is he never shirks or hides, attitude is good. Plenty of room for improvement though.

I don't know if it's a legacy thing from KT albeit Julien wasn't here at the time, but even when Boli is in at LB it's the position that seems to have the most ball possession.
I dont have any data to back that up but even today when I could see he was gassed we looked to start an awful lot of attacks from his position.

Got caught out for their first. Was just in the side after signing and never playing left back..

Taylor was worse today than Boli was on the 29th....by a distance..

I'd say Griff was worse. Did absolutely nothing of note.

He was blowing out his * as he was being asked to fly up and down the wing and do the attacking work of a LM and the defensive work of a LWB.

He was signed as a defensive LB from a Kilmarnock team that played compact football. He wasn't making lung-busting runs like he was asked to do today.

I don't think Boli is a bombscare but he's definitely lax defensively. I see him as similar to Tavernier at the Huns but he doesn't have as good delivery or chip in with the same amount of assists.

He's an athlete but I don't see him as a good fit for us.

One thing that stands out for me is his limited physical attributes. He seems to have very little strength and their right back protected the ball from him very easily.

Sometimes plays like he's wearing boots 2 sizes too big.

My main gripe with him is his inability to take his man on. It's becoming a significant issue. It's the same at the other end. Pacey wingers will have his number 1v1.

Gives his all and will be a useful player for us that will get his fair share of appearances over a season but the harsh truth is he's a back-up LB for the level we need to be at. We're going to need a better 1st choice.

I really disagree with that mate. Boli on the 29th is up there with Du Wei for me, one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen in a Celtic strip.

Fair enough bud. No issue. We all see it differently at time's :50:

There seems to be a lot of debate about who's the best left back still and that's maybe an indication of where we're at. The team almost picks itself everywhere else but on here and elsewhere it's still Taylor for some, Hayes for other's and Boli for the rest..

I deffo think we'll go back in to the market in the summer..

We 100% need an upgrade in the summer I'd punt Boli. Taylor is decent back up domestically

Think people are being harsh on Taylor, in this run we’ve been on he’s set up a good amount and has been excellent defensively.

Today was a shiter for him, happens, we move on.

He's had good game's mate deffo..

I've no been knee-* today though as I've had my doubts before this..

Today just highlighted again his lack of pace and ability to get up and down. Has always struggled to beat a man. Is brushed off the ball a lot..

I admire his commitment as he's tries like * but I feel that Boli and Hayes have both performed at a higher level than Taylor....when all have been at their best..

Just said it elsewhere but his lack of pace will be pounced on again by a decent side and exposed..

Don't see what this boy offers tbh, few decent assists aside.

I still think Taylor was lined up as cheap back up for Tierney, then Arsenal surprised the board by paying the 25 upfront and we were forced into paying more than we wanted for Taylor.

Baffling we decided there wasn't a single better Left Back in Europe available around the 3 million mark.

I don’t think either Hayes or Boli have showed anywhere near the defensive ability of Taylor, it’s not even close there for me.

Would be interesting to see who has the most assists out of the three as well, I suspect it’s actually Taylor.

Taylor gets caught out a lot up-field....to the point he can't get back..

It probably is. Taylor has been consistently in since the turn of the year though and playing in our most attacking system by far..

His positioning is supremely *, so for all his positive attributes he disjoints the team massively.

Just have to hope that he’s capable of being coached in that aspect.

He's an average left back, Bolingoli's worse.

Yeah agree with that, also don't think his passing is too clever especially when under pressure.

Really think we need a new LB in the summer, not convinced with any of the current options.

Think he’s decent and most of all, honest as a player . Will only improve imho...we can’t buy the finished article, so lucky that KT came along but he ain’t quite there yet.
