Even look at Forrest’s goal, dummy by Eddy into Griff, one touch from Griff Eddy’s in behind, Eddy’s clever enough and unselfish enough to square it in to Forrest.

    Great all round play.

I think it just takes the right person to get the point across to him.

Ask him how he would feel if someone was pelting him with abuse when he put that volley 30 yards over the bar from 10 yards out...

Players generally know when they've not done something right. He was girning at the players for not being at the back post when he whipped in a corner at Rugby Park...I've played with guys like that and you just completely shut off to what they're saying. It just becomes noise.

theyre trying hard to get him a ban , all out in force this morning

am i right in saying nothing can happen because the ref dealt with it at the time?

I’m not saying he’s incapable of linking up well from time to time but it’s always been a clear weakness in his game. Gives the ball away on a regular basis. Makes it even more obvious when he’s playing alongside Edouard who is usually so good on the ball.

Don’t think it’s mental at all. Like I said, Craig Gordon has made more appearances in the same period of time and plenty of Celtic fans hate the guy.

Lennon called it spot on. He shouldn't get involved but the incident was no more than a booking. The dive after that though I can't defend.

WGS called it at halftime as well. 'Lenny will take him aside and ask him if he wants to be responsible for losing a 7 point lead by receiving a red card'

As for 2 up front, liking that a lot and would certainly persist with it. Could do with Bitton returning to the side however.

Not sure about that, got into a great position to get on the end of Taylors cross early doors, should have berried it. Then wins the free kick for Eddy, that was just him being clever, should then have stuck that volley, took up great position.
Assist for Forrest. And unlucky with that quick corner, when keeper was trying timewasting.
Sure he missed a few chances, but worked hard all day.

His link up play was poor and gave the ref a decision that could have cost us the game.

    Edouard assisted Forrest..

Im glad he's back tho and its never easy for anyone on that surface..

Made another post after this.. I'm happy for the wee man and what a weapon we can have when he gets fully firing.

His link up play may have been poor, but his movement off the ball, and dragging defenders all over the place, creates space for Eddy to utilise.

I thought that as the ref had dealt with it then there couldn't be retrospective action, Morelos had no retrospective action after Ibrox because Beaton had seen the incidents and took no action according to the SfA

Been told The panel of refs decision wasn’t unanimous so he won’t be cited. Happy days. :)

Aye, but noo they're trying to say the ref booked griff for the confrontation(the push of the player that I cannae rem the name of) and not for the "actual" incident with the player on the ground.

re. the incident on the ground...
That monkey had his hand round griff's foot trying to trap it.
Everyone knows what it's like, when someone holds onto one of your feet and you try to take a step.

OT or is it... Michael Stewart was a class act tonight on sportsound, telling it like it is.
Mentioning the lies and false stories in the media of how someone's supercar brakes was supposedly tampered with.
Again unfounded and no weight behind it.

On the griff incident that was discussed there.
This numpty ex-ref said, how "he had spoken to former colleagues and they all said it was a defo red" and much more.
Michael Stewart pointed out, that that statement was in itself, "prejudicial" and should not have been said.
Some more drubbing fae wee mick and the ex-ref started to backtrack saying it was "probably" a yellow, blah blah...

    In all honesty...
I was hoping and waiting for Michael to ask him to name these so called colleagues/ex-colleagues, that had said it to him.
This is another case of; he says/she says with no naming of names to back it up.

There is only one reason that * would say that... and that is,
to prejudicially influence the result of any disciplinary hearing that may arise.
AFAIA; the deadline for any complaint is 15:00 tomorrow(4th feb 2020).

It's a * witch-hunt and every Celtic player is fair game on and off the park.
This is only us going for the 9 and 4. I can only imagine and i fear what it's gonna' be like going for the 10 and
by the grace of *, the 5 also.

ps. pls dqm, i'm trying to go from memory here.

I thought he was lucky to stay on the pitch. Think the rule is * tbh. But a precedent has been set with Morelos last season (not that it helped with Christie getting a ban for a Morelos style foul).

The rule is terrible. How McGregor got off with an assault on Ajer is beyond me.
