Bolingoli is not the answer either, we have sold an elite LB and replaced him with mediocrity. I would pick Taylor out of the two though tbh.

Really liked the look of him tonight. And that’s from someone who rates Bolingoli.

Properly scratching my head at some of the comments above.

He a lot more comfortable and composed on the ball compared to Boli, wouldn't say he's lightweight at all he gets stuck in about and is smart in using his body. He strikes a good balance of ability going forward and defending. I'd be giving him a run in the team ahead of Boli just now, give the lad a chance to get his confidence and match sharpness up.

Our both full backs had plenty of the ball, but (IMO)didn't penetrate a poor championship defence enough or create chances for our front men.Passes didn't happen when they were on.
Having two up front and the way the midfield were set up,I felt tactically that the full backs should have been creating more opportunities...attacks from both fullbacks didn't work for me.
Taylor isn't doing it for me and Frimpong seems to have lost his cavalier approach going forward. We need more penetration ffs.

I think some people have green and white tinted specs regarding KT.

What would he have done tonight that Taylor didn’t?

I thought Taylor had a decent game tonight. I think he is a more balanced player than Bolingoli. I prefer him to Bolingoli, less erratic.

Well if you watched the game you would of saw Taylor taking on his man whenever he could and getting balls into the box or getting it into Eddy or Griff early.

The issue wasn't the fullbacks it was the support for them, a few times Rogic and McGregor would just be inside the middle not supporting Taylor to create space by taking away a man, same on the right with Ntcham.

Notice when Arzani came on how he was pulling outwide to support the fullbacks and giving an option and Klimala coming outwide as well. Not to mention it's a tight pitch against 2 banks of 4 we were playing narrow against, there's only so much a full back can do by himself.

Thought he was tidy, but maybe not suited to the diamond.

I thought McGregor was garbage tonight by the way but he kept going beyond for Taylor on the left. It just never happened for them..

I honestly just don't see much in him. He hasn't got the pace to do what we need from a full back. He gets up and looks uncomfortable in an attacking sense in my opinion but worryingly (and I've seen this on a few occasions now)....he absolutely cannot get back when he's commited forward..

I think he would be OK as a back up LB, not convinced with him or Boli tbh.

I thought he done well.. edouard offers very little from crosses and our attacking players are generally smothered by the defensive deep sitting teams domestically .. I really think we need to play two up front domestically till season end especially at home. Our full backs would have better options with the ball at their feet

Got to give the guy a run of games.
He looks better than Boli after his first couple of games.
