This is a job for White Cone. Will need to make sure WC is not on the protected buildings list, before desecrating it with a strategically placed and painted black D which can mean anything you want it to.....apart from defender.

Hendry if The Cone fits wear it!!!!

Best of luck to him, he gave it a go but couldn't make the step up to play for us...no shame in that. Hope he does well in Oz

If it's just a loan, he should work his * off and make it a perm. He surely knows he isn't getting back in at Celtic and no club like the sheep, hibs etc will bother with him.

Won a watch is a good term for it.
Makes it a perm at 5k for 4 years is over a million in salary, add on signing on fees and what he has earned already, he should have money in him to live a nice life in Australia and bring a family up etc...if that's his jam. Play his cards right and could make a longer career there in their media etc as well.

CELTIC defender Jack Hendry is set to join Australian club Melbourne City, according to reports.

SunSport exclusively told you earlier this month that Hearts were keen on bringing the 24-year-old to Tynecastle.

But according to the Daily Mail, the deal with Melbourne was agreed today and the Hoops ace will now make his way Down Under this weekend.

He reportedly could make his debut for Manchester City’s sister club against Perth Glory next weekend.

Hendry has been frozen out at Celtic under Neil Lennon and is looking to kick-start his career.

The Scotland international has made just one appearance this season, and has only made 27 overall in all competitions since moving from Dundee in January 2018.

The Scotland international has made just one appearance this season, and has only made 27 overall in all competitions since moving from Dundee in January 2018.

Should the reported switch to Australia be finalised, Hendry will aim to get regular game time once again.

He won’t be the only player with experience of the Scottish Premiership in the squad, with former Hibs striker Jamie Maclaren plying his trade for Erick Mombaerts’ side.

Melbourne City are currently second in the A-League, 11 points behind leaders Sydney FC.

The club are owned by the City Football Group, with Man City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak working in the same position in Australia.
