I retract that. Even Barbarians have more decorum than thee.

One of my mates mentioned it to me. Don't know if it's actually going to happen but he's been right before. Maybe need a striker to come in before they let griff go

No point in taking Turnbull away from Motherwell just now, if so we would be loaning him back till at least the summer, he's only just started running on grass again so probably a month away from game time if he's lucky.

I’d still like to get him on our books though. Don’t want to risk losing him

He wants the move here and we probably could get a cut price deal then loan him back till the summer, not a priority though.

Went off the idea of Turnbull.

For 3.5 million we can definitely get better.

Theres no way that would be the price now.

I'd still take him. But would.be much reduced in fee.

I just don’t see him getting game time. Christie and Rogic on form are miles ahead of him. Rogic hasn’t kicked a ball for a while but I still think he can get back to his best.

If we are looking to bring in a CAM then they need to be better than Christie and Rogic IMO otherwise they’ll rot on the bench.

Just feel that with the knee injury etc and no football for 8 months they cant charge that sort of fee.

Hmm. If hes fit and Rogic is in this sort of form, theres no reason he couldnt rival him. Or even play in a CM role.

It wasnt long ago I was writing Christie off from ever even playing for us so I wouldnt put it past Turnbull being able to surprise a few and fight for a spot. Still only 20 too.

Havent seen a whole lot but what I have seen he looks a talent who I'd like to have on board.

They reportedly were going to offer him a new deal after his moved collapsed but there is no indication that he signed anything, transfermarkt still has his contract as expiring next year.

Wages are too high. Fee is too high. £3.25million plus 20k-a-week for someone who played 25 league games is utter madness.
That makes it a £7.4million deal all in. Too much.
17 months left on his current deal isn't so long to wait and he's effectively priced himself out a deal to move anywhere until
    at least the Summer.

BTW, he signed a new contract in January last year, a two year deal when he was looking at a Bosman in four months.
They offered more money which they probably can't really afford long term.

Will rogic be here much longer though the injuries and constant pain in the * dealings with Australia might push the board into accepting an offer and don’t know if ntcham will still be here

Take your point however if Rogic or Ntcham go then I'd be hoping we aim higher than Turnbull.

Turnbull was a target in the first place because he was on our door step and our scouting/recruitment department was non-existent.

With Hammond in the building it seems we are casting the net wider and looking into new markets.
