Was expecting so much better after our poor show in the cup final, crazy as it sounds but winning the cup just papered over the cracks, i thought it was a one off performance, but after today's showing that dosen't look to be the case.

I wish someone would ask him why he started with Johnston after playing Christie wide and Ntcham for weeks. Once that change was made we looked instantly better

Any manager's going to get quizzed after a brilliant start. All that matters to them are us, we are not digging that hole

Not sure recruiting is the answer. To a man, we are better than them, the concern was the lack of fight and no real game plan rather than personnel. End of the day is was poor, a * result, but we need to re-focus and hit our stride in jan.

True, agree with a lot of what you said but we flipped the game at there place so that made sense we've always been the underdog

Disappointed he had three weeks to come up with game plan to break them down and press.
I think he thought we just turn up and win
That twice they out pressed us and wanted it more
How easy did they bye pass our midfield and find wee rat with ball so many times.

Ye know in any other season 11 wins on the spin you could and probably would have had a 8-10 point advantage the day going into that game!

Love lenny but I feel like we should have changed shape a lot sooner all we did was go down the flanks and lose the ball there was a lack of option for the wide man to get it inside or into dangerous areas we looked completely clueless Boli was * all game they looked hungry we looked out of ideas totally gutting hopefully lenny gets some reinforcements in.

    His tactics today were abysmal.

It was evident after 30 mins our wide 2 were never in the game. Worst 2 players on the park.

He waited too long to change it about.

My biggest worry is that he doesn’t have the nouse when it comes to changing it up when current tactics aren’t working. Ambitious moving to the back 3 but you need to have wing backs that can play both offensively and defensively. We were so flat with the ball, especially at the back. That slow we kept playing ourselves into trouble.

I was happy with the team that started before the game because I dont think weve looked at our best recently and I thought that was down to us bringing nitcham in and playing Forrest and Christie out of position but tbh maybe given the performance today with our tried and trusted team I think it is probably a mixture of issues,
    1. Gerrard has sussed Lennon out
    2. Our pressing and passing game was non existent,
    3. Were just going through a spell of bad form mixed in with abit of arrogance and complacency within the the team.

So many people were in favour of Johnston starting and Christie going back into the 10 role but Lennon should never have changed it for this game.

Should have stuck to the team that’s been playing together for weeks. Johnston should have come off the bench later in the game.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing they say!
