Lennon made mistakes not today, but in the prior weeks. Forcing McGregor, Forrest and Edouard to play every game, when giving them rest time was in order. I suppose he could've sent in Griffiths earlier than the 79th minute, but his initial team selection was okay. It was the tiredness that made us second best.

I don't know how much of it was forced because of the knock to Mikey, but bringing on Bitton before guys like Griff or Rogic is mind boggling.

With no reasoning behind it. Christie plays well on the right.

Forresr has been dreadful for a while, wherever he has played.

We learnt nothing from the cup final game. In fact, we got outdone on our own turf this time.

    Carry on, though.

Apparently he said we didn't deserve to lose today? I really hope he's just protecting the players with that one.

Are we really going to go through these emotions? Everyone knew Lenny is not world class yet, everyone knew Rodgers was.

We're emotional after a derby but mind where we are

Elhamed and Elyonoussi make a difference to us, with Frimpong and MJ gradually blended in..

We will also strengthen in the window..

One Cup in the bag, top of the league.

No need to panic, Lenny has done well.

And that’s absolutely fair enough. The vast majority on here seemed to be though, myself included.

Aye I’m not saying he’s done a bad job because he clearly hasn’t. However it is absolutely a reflection of his managerial ability when he’s not learned from previous performances against them.

Whether Johnston should have started or not, it was abundantly clear that he was completely and utterly out of his depth today. Lennon should have replaced him at half-time, if not sooner.

Again, I already said that criticism of him is absolutely fair enough.

Criticism of his team selection from people who were in favour of it, which seems to have been most, is a bit off though.

Issue has been clear for weeks.

Frimpong is our first choice right back. El Ham has been injured and they wee man's performances have showed he should be starting ahead of Bauer

But there's no link up play with Forrest. They seem to get in each other's way. Today I felt frimpong could and should have been releasing James sooner into space.

We have tried Christie out there cutting in to make way for frimpong over lap. But we have lost christie work rate in field.

Suggestions of using frimpong as competition to Forrest is Deffo a runner but slightly outside the box would be to play Frimpong at left back.

Especially if we have someone as intelligent as super Mo in front of him that naturally drifts in field to make way for the wee mans runs. Taylor and Boil havent convinced me and when El Ham returns I wouldn't be against Frimpong moving over to left back.

Could give the team more balance.

All the folk saying MJ should of been taken off at half time, so could of Forrest. Johnston actually grew into the first half and had a few good runs.

Point is that team should be smashing those *, they are as much to blame as Lenny. Far too slack and wasteful, constantly gave the ball away and not enough fight to win the 2nd ball.
