Personally, I thought Brown was excellent today.

Julien was good for me too and unlucky not to score.

Frimpong very good as always.

Edouard lacked service but held up the ball and linked up well when fed.

We were let down primarily by our wide players and Christie. Ironically it’s the one area that most of us would’ve felt was strongest. Johnstone, Christie and Forrest don’t all need to be firing on all cylinders, but all three were very poor today.

 

Probably because he is a troll who literally only shows up at times like this.

 

Guys top of the League still.calm down. .* performance.but this team has been performing * miracles for 3 seasons.blame squarely on board for not investing big time to have cover for our players.lawell is in the firing line. support the team please guys.HH

 

I find this just embarrassing as a ‘remote ‘ fan who doesn’t have to go to work and have Huns in my face... so I feel for those of you who do..

Lenny is the one who should really be embarrassed though...

He’s been schooled by a novice manager on our own turf... AND after he had a good forewarning of what was coming at the cup final.

I don’t see what good bringing a load of players in would do... our squad is good enough to beat 10 teams (11 up Until today) so would it be buying players just to beat Sevco ?

This is about team tactics and game management...

Today we were clearly second best.

We had the chance to shut the Huns and their media up .... now we won’t hear the end of it!

I'd probably agree with both to a degree, I struggled to give him a lower rating as the front 6 made his day far more difficult. He's still only 21. A relatively inexperienced CB and has had good games against better teams. We need strength in the middle of the park for these games and i'd rather see a Wanyama type in January than a new CB. Team lacks real fight.

Feels like a lot of our support are cheering for disaster. Today is a sore one, especially since we go straight into the winter break. We'll regroup and come back stronger, as we always do in January. We were poor today, as we were in the cup final. How we approach these games has to change, that much is clear.

It just feels like there is an element of our support who are waiting for, or possibly wanting, Lenny to fail.

The vitriol towards him is, frankly, embarrassing.

A very poor way to sign off for the year , especially against that mob . I was hoping that Eduard would take the penalty too . James Forrest was far too quiet , and a few other players seemed subdued as well . We have to recharge the batteries during the break , and hopefully add some top quality players . My final point is ; why the * did we not have players positioned by the posts when defending corners . That is pretty basic for me .

Kris Boyd has to be the least impartial pundit Sky have ever had, everything he says is filled with bitterness towards Celtic.

 

He didn’t say anything that anycunt else would have said. He’s a soup taking *.

 

The problem for me is Lennons tactics. He can’t stand the thought of losing the ball passing it so he orders safe long balls and hopes for hun mistakes.

The fear in the team that they will be the one to make ‘the mistake’ is so obvious. Once we get over that and actually pass the ball we play so much better.

The players are getting way too much stick. They are obviously being poorly managed for these high pressure games.

 

You can put Frimpong,Forrest,Christie,Bolongoli in there too...much talent but Zero dig.
Frimpong I can excuse as he's being used far too frequently despite our lack of options...

 

The saving grace is that it's not even January and we have time to sort this out.

Thought we would have learned from the final though.
