    EL Hamed had experience of over 200 Pro games, this guy has 30 or 40. Big difference.

    Still a 3rd of what el Hamed made before joining us but more than I was led to believe. However this season he ayed 20 odd games according to transfermarkt only starting half, in a team that relegated.

    CRUZEIRO have claimed Celtic have made no official £3million bid for defender Fabricio Bruno.

    Cruzeiro’s vice-president Marcio Rodrigues initially claimed last week Celtic had made a £3 million offer for the 23-year-old, and the club have since back-tracked on their claims.

    The centre-back has been linked with a move to the Hoops and is taking his current club to court in a bid to force through a move because he is not being paid.

    But Cruzerio now say they ruled out a £3m move for Bruno and then returned with a counter offer as the player’s agent revealed he would be meeting with Hoops officials in London at the end of the year.


    “The soccer director Marcelo Djian even said that “if Fabrício Bruno did not stay in Celtic, he would return undervalued and Cruzeiro would only receive 300 thousand euros, very small amount.”

    The agent of the defender said that the amount requested by Cruzeiro was a little high, but would work to increase the values of the loan and sale.

    Fabio Melo also said that he would be traveling on December 26 to London and invited Marcelo Djian to join him in the negotiation.

    “Cruzeiro never ended the negotiation, but was surprised by agent Fabio Mello who later called Marcelo Djian and Benecy Queiroz apologising and warning that the case would be brought to justice by Fabrício Bruno.”
