    Not a purchase as such but the first music I owned was James' single Sit Down on cassette.

    Came free with my first bank account.

    Highway 61 revisited by Bob Dylan in 1965 on vinyl. 54 years later and I still think it's a fantastic album.

    Exelent choice, seen slade in the Apollo in the mid 70s, the place was absolutely rockin.

    If it's the same gig I'm thinking of, and it probably is, that was my first ever concert. I was 7/8 at the time. Can still remember it to this day. What a night.
