Buzzing for him to return. We have badly missed his finishing. Top top player.

We haven’t really, we’ve been scoring a fuckload of goals. Averaging over 3 a game man

Expect him on the bench for Motherwell then

Assuming he is in Lenny's plans

It's too much to expect Eddie to play every game though

I know, don’t disagree at all and I’m delighted to see him back. We just haven’t missed him due to other players stepping up.

So we now have yet another dynamic to add into our team if we want.

Aye we are scoring for fun but against the likes of Hibs, Livi etc particularly after a big European game. You're wanting a hungry Leigh Griffiths to bang in a few goals.

Griffiths is just a deadly goal scorer, and he bangs them in for fun domestically.

They * have got it good having Defoe to slot in after every big game to give Morelos a rest. Need Griffiths to be that player for us.

We scored 5 against Hibs on the weekend mate.

We’re averaging over 3 goals a game. My point is, with Leigh coming back into that, and offering a different type of threat we will improve further.

Naw totally, I meant the 1-1 and 2-0 games. These sort of results can happen at anytime to be fair but Griffiths is very handy to have in the domestic league games, it's his bread and butter.

It will be good to have him back as you say it offers a totally different dynamic. We are scoring from all over the pitch now. Think Elyounoussi offers so much as well, goals and assists.

Tend to agree with this. I don’t think either Morelos or Defoe are as good as Edouard but they are definitely stronger up top than we are. Griffiths needs to come back and still haven’t been impressed with Bayo, not that he won’t come good.

We have Edouard and Griff with Elyanoussi and Forrest beside them and they are stronger up top than us? Effin no chance. For a start Defoe is about 50

Actually we are better than them in every department. They have fight and a desire to catch us cos basically they despise us. That's all they have

Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths has been pictured training ahead of the club’s crucial clash in Rome.

The 29-year-old took part in a full session at Celtic Park as Neil Lennon’s squad prepare to fly out for the Lazio showdown later on Wednesday

It’s a major boost to Lennon’s attacking options as of last week he had just one fit striker to call upon in Odsonne Edouard following a knee injury to Vakoun Bayo.

Griffiths hasn’t featured for the champions since a 3-1 victory over Hearts in late August. Following his personal problems the former Hibs star has been hit with niggling injuries and a virus.
He dropped a major hint he’s ready to return earlier this week when he posted a "guess who’s back" message on social media.
And now Griffiths is edging ever closer to a comeback by joining the rest of the squad at the stadium for their final training session before taking on the Serie A giants in the Europa League.

He was named in Celtic’s European squad list for the competition in which Lennon’s side are top of their group.

Can’t see Griff coming back in this for his reintroduction. Prefer to see a league game but if he’s ready then away you go. Just delighted the wee man is back and he is under the perfect mentor in Lennon.

Okay, Katić would be a good option to rotate in, as CB. Morelos as a second CF- oh, my.
