    That's an absolutely ridiculous statement.

    Aye, no * on that pitch matched Dembele and Rogic against Man City or Forrest and McGregor against Bayern Munich.

    I can't really remember Rogić's performance against Manchester City, to be honest, but the other three were the ones that I named off the top of my head.

    Tierney made the UEFA team of the week one or twice too, I'm sure.

    Tierney had Robben in his back pocket for Bayern. He was fantastic that night..

    I've never seen anybody frighten and back up Alaba like Forrest did that night as well..

    Didn't deserve to get beat..

    Lustig, Gamboa & Toljan at £60-70k per week in wages to... Elhamed, Frimpong and Bauer at £25-30k per week in wages.

    NL: The mentality of the team was brilliant today and their fitness levels were shining through. I have immense pride in that performance and the players can take an enormous amount of pride in it too

    NL: “We came in at half-time at 4-0 and I couldn’t ask anymore really. I felt we could have had a few more in the second-half with the control we had of the game.”

    NL: “I thought we were red hot and a constant threat. It’s been a brilliant week. We’ve scored 10 goals in the league and had a fantastic win against Lazio.”

    NL: “Mentally and physically that game against Lazio was draining for them but they’ve recovered brilliantly with an outstanding team performance.

    NL: “There were so many brilliant individual performances today. It’s a great place we’re in at the minute but we’re not getting carried away. It’s the end of a fantastic week for the players.”

    NL: “It’s up there with the best 45 minutes I’ve seen from the players. They were relentless and the quality of their play was fantastic. I’m grateful for the win because it’s a big ask to come here after Thursday and perform like they did.”

    Really exciting spell we are going through at the moment. Buzzing for days off winning games. Had a few real boring periods in recent years before BR came in.

    Neil Lennon looks so relaxed in the role this time around. Still full of passion but more relaxed.

    I noticed that too...and thought exactly the same. Lennon spotted they were there for the taking.

    The only thing that i’ve noticed, i wouldn’t say it’s a concern, is there’s a wee bit of a lack of rotation. The only reason i’m pointing that out is that i don’t want it to come back and bite us. Fair enough, striker, Bayo doesn’t look ready to rotate, but where’s Johnson (edit: i can’t remember if he’s injured) but he brought so much to the team early doors. I’m interested to here what others make...

    Positives since Lenny returned

    1- finished off the treble
    2- strengthened the squad at short notice
    3- reduced players on loan
    4- improved performances in UEFA cup
    5- another win over them

    cluj was a kick in the teeth when it happened, but their showing in our uefa group there no push over.

    that’s quite some list of positives, over 8? months in charge.
    What a hero!

    It’s immeasurable to put into words the contribution that
    @ScottBrown8

    's made over the last 12 years."
    NL: @ScottBrown8
    's leadership qualities are invaluable here. At 34, he’s playing as well as ever. I think that’s testament to his professionalism and dedication."

    NL: "
    @ScottBrown8
    's grown into the captain’s role and taken it on. Even during my first time as manager, he was a great role model for younger players. He’s just matured. They all look to him, respect him, listen to him and he sets the tone for the rest of the squad."

    NL on injuries: "
    @Tom_Rogic
    's got a little inflammation around the knee.
    @Chri6ViF
    's fine, he had a bug but he trained this morning.
    @OlivierNtcham
    's back in training and obviously Christie comes back into contention tomorrow as well."

    NL: "The way the team’s playing, we are in a great place at the minute psychologically so I would imagine they want to get back out on the pitch as soon as possible. Fantastic performance at the weekend which capped off a great week and now we go again."

    NL on #CELSTM: "We want that momentum that we’ve picked up the last few games to carry on tomorrow night. We expect the game to be difficult. We expect
    @saintmirrenfc
    to fight and we have to be ready for it."

    He'll top that list soon enough. Glad to be wrong about him so far, long may it continue.
    And look at that list, John Barnes was a very underrated manager.
