    Zombieland: Double Tap

It was watchable but pretty average imo.

I refuse to watch it due to how * and over - rated "Get Out".

Based on what I've seen, Jordan Peele must have incriminating photos of someone as his movies are *.

I forgot he also did 'Get Out'. Yup - another seriously over-hyped film!

The hype came because Get Out was released just as Trump became President and the ‘Oscar’s so white’ controversy, and the fact that Peele was famous for doing * comedy. The content of his films and his comments about only ever having black leads then lead to him being hyped as some sort of saviour of the horror genre.

A bit like Black Panther being compared to the Godfather by people, to look ‘woke’ you had people saying * like Peele was the new Kubrick or the new Spielberg.

Get out was absolutely * and anyone I’ve spoke to about Us has said that was even worse. An interesting premise that Peele completely butchered.

If you’re wanting new horror then Ari Aster is the real ‘future of horror’.

Yeah man, that makes sense. Timing is everything, right?

Ari Aster is another one that potentially on the list for Hereditary alone. Was loving that film up until the last 20 mins or so, then the final scene in at the trewgiuse was enough to make sure I didn't recommend the movie to anyone.

That brand of psychological horror just didn't work for me either. Maybe it's me as folk seem to love him. I've yet to see Midsommar and I do intend on watching that to be fair.

Really wish Ty West would get back to making horror again. Stuff like House of the Devil was class! I tend to mind the more occult stuff more interesting.

As an aside, finally got around to seeing Joker tonight. Such a dark * movie and very uncomfortable to watch at times but * me was the acting fantastic.

Get Out is such a weird film, it's very American on how it stereotypes race and the fetishization of race and genetics. The whole concept was utterly bizarre, and there is no clear message. It did have me thinking * is that after watching it, but despite being so strange it was quite engrossing.

'The Outlaw Josie Wales', great Eastwood film, 'Raising Arizona', Coen brothers if I need a laugh & 'Goodfellas' speaks for itself.
