What a wonderful relationship you have with your daughter, she's inherited your passion for bird's and the excitement and enthusiasm when you both come across something is infectious :50:

Thanks, BFL and Johnie. Was just finishing my mid morning cup of tea and raspberry ruffle bar when I saw those pesky goldcrests that I've been trying to picture for months now. While I was getting the camera, the wee robin flew onto the conifer beside them. Seconds after he went, the yellow wagtail came down for a wee drink. Later on, the sparrowhawk appeared but was away before I could get my camera. It was a brilliant few minutes.

Thank you BFL. I appreciate your comments. The passion my daughter does have for all wildlife, and the planet in general, is infectious. She always thanks me for her passion, because in her words; " I got this love of nature from you Dad."
On the other hand, my wife has been angry with us many times when we stop to look at something and we're in a hurry. My wife hates it when I'm driving and a bird flies overhead, and I try to see what it was. The car has swerved many times on the road. I can't help myself.

On a day we dish out a long awaited skelping at Celtic Park, I finally got a picture of one of the wee goldcrests in our garden after months of trying. :62: A goldfinch was on the tree at the same time.

Yes lovely little birds are Goldcrests which of course are Europe’s smallest bird. When you see them next to say a Wren they are still clearly dwarfed!!

Just seen the fox we feed for the first time in months. Looked like it was waiting on food being thrown out.

Going to have to buy a bag of dry dog food or that so we can feed it more often again. Looked in good shape though.

This morning on my local patch with Ruby Roo Boxer Of course I noticed that a sizeable area of Gorse and Ferns is being removed which is pleasing as it will help the Wildlife forage for good.
2 Choughs circled above the hard working tractor calling and noticing this new feeding area such is their intelligence. Some Jackdaws also got in on the potential larder Act.
2 local Sparrowhawk were noted and the local female Kestrel appeared to be having a chat with a Jackdaw:84:

This little flutter of colour had been flying around the house for a couple of hours until I opened the back door:

Nice picture, Tarboltontim. Keep it away from BFL. She'll kill it, just like the last one. :56:
