I was just curious as to how someone who doesn't give a * about the EPL has seen enough of him to be able to say he is world class.

Spot on mate, I think the fact his last season was so injury ravaged had a big say in his decision. Obviously the money is great for him but the lad obviously has a burning desire to reach the very top and to do that you need to play against the best week in week out.

Disappointed he left but you can understand it, he went as far as he could with Celtic and that’s the brutal truth. He won’t improve that much more only playing against a few top teams in Europe over a whole season compared to every week in the EPL.

Not a huge number of games played in the CL to base that kind of judgement from. Or are you saying any player that has won the CL is automatically world class?

    Andy Robertson is World Class
& Ive watched most Liverpool games in the last 2 year.
Over the last 2 season Andy Robertson has come on leaps and bounds.
And in terms of Modern LWB's Robbo is one of the best in the world.

    Sooo, anyway....

KT is now an Arsenal player, let him get on with it. Boli and Taylor are now our concern as Celtic fans.

He did what most on here would do, people are lying their * arses off if they say otherwise; Leaving for a big sum starting a new challenge and getting fame and respect like he would never get in Scotland playing against the likes of Dunfermline and that zombie joke club. People are delusional if they think a young talented player like that is going to just stay at Celtic forever, this is how football works players move on. Celtic producing good young players and cultivating them shows we are going in the right direction, we just need that money to be reinvested back into the team and if it's not that where the anger should be focused.

He would have been an absolute mug not to have made this move, footballing wise.

The only thing keeping him at Celtic is fan loyalty.
The only one thing I'm a little sad he hasn't done, is stay for the ten.
But maybe there has been reasons for that, which we will never really know.

But as a footballer, I'd be more disappointed in him if he never made the move to arsenal.

Two good seasons there and he will be signed by who ever has the most cash.
Barcelona and real Madrid will literally sign players from arsenal, they won't sign them from Celtic or west brom or some pish. (That is not to say we are the same as those clubs).

The injury problems that he has had surgery for & a club paid 25 million?

It was one problem mate & he had the surgery to rectify this. Love how everything Tierney does is ok but Rodgers & Dembele are a disgrace.

This is the bit i have a problem with. He could have stayed for the 10 & still been young enough to move with thanks from the full support. It would have been the same if Rodgers had stayed till the end of the season.

Within reason, yeah. But it's still a risk and we don't know for sure if anything has been said that may have swayed his thinking.

Seeing him lift the ten would have been special, really special, along with brown. But that's done now.

I personally don't hold a grudge or anything, football wise he made the right move. Financially he made the right move. Career development he has made the right move.

Bored seeing or hearing talk about him.

No harm to the lad but he's moved on now and so have we. Best of luck for the future and always welcome back at Celtic Park as long as he parts with some of his EPL cash in the ticket office like the rest of us.

So a club has never paid big bucks for a player who had surgery, passed the medical and was still *? Him staying for another year or 2 was a gamble for both parties that's why I feel the time was right.

Rodgers and Dembele left us in the lurch by leaving when they did. Moussa to a lesser extent because he was being * about by Rodgers behind the scenes. We've knew for the majority of the summer there was a good chance KT was leaving so we had time to find replacements which we now have.

Football is a business at the end of the day and Lennoxtown was build for the purpose of bringing through players like Tierney to make us money. It's gutting when the good ones leave but it's the way it goes.

That’s the bit I’m resenting. He could have been a legend, I don’t doubt his support for us, he said he thinks he had done everything he could with Celtic.

Didn’t stay to seal the 10 and leave a * legend with the kind regards of the support.

The worst bit about the whole transfer was that * who turned up at the game the other week with the Arsenal top with Tierney on the back of it. Bar the * for life.

People wanting to see him do well are a riddy?

I still like him and wish him all the best. And as I watch EPL football anyway, I’m quite looking forward to seeing him get back to fitness and do well down there.
