Anyone else notice that every single one of their tackles was a slide, though? Really looked like getting the ball was entirely incidental to them today.

In all seriousness though, they need to wrap that away section *. That’s them lost despite our 800 fans. Get it to *, if only for their own hardcore who must be cringing like *.

I'm a negative * at times, specially during transfer windows.
For me there is still a lot of work to be done and we need better quality than the likes of Greg Taylor.

    However,

    Today, that was fantastic.
That entire backline did so well. I think three players came of age today.
Julien in his first game never won a header, today he was dominant and his clearing headers brilliant. Once ntcham came on, nearly all of them sent straight to him and ntcham control and turn to go forward was great.
Bitton proved he is good enough to be a centre back for Celtic, he took that game in his stride.
Boli - well done son. Work still to be done, but that will give him so much confidence. Things were kept simple and he was confident. Positioning he was mostly good and kept to his duties. There is one or two things he needs to work on, but today is not the day for that chat.

Elhamed at the right, done what he has since day one. Moved to left side of the centre back pair and again no major issues. Going to be a player for us for the next 4 years, I just wish we will go get a younger guy to develop long term...perhaps let's look to the next youth.

Bauer, not enough time to judge, certain plenty to come.

Forster, not asked to do much either, but you can see him talking to the backline and controlling things. Comes for the ball and looked confident. He is back.

Well done to that backline. Very well done.

Mid to front I don't think much needs to be said, we won the battles, wanted more from the wide players, but the game was never there.

    And final point, the ref.
He let a lot go, both sides. McGregor could have been easily booked - in fact he should have. He let the game flow a lot and when it came to it I think he got a lot right. Linesman as well, offside calls all seemed spot on. So a little added well done to them.

Don't know if Slippy not g fist meant this but he said something earlier that basically said if we can stop them up the wing we'll control the game and listening to the radio now that's what happened

    * YASSSS BHOYS! :party22:

Fair play Lenny, managed the game perfectly, defense was superb, knew Jullien would be a great signing but never expected El Hamed to be such a monster. Niro was bossing it aswell until the injury.

Put those * back in their place.

    YASSSSSSSSS :party048:
