    Thank * mate!

Goes to show media don’t have a clue what we are doing until it’s done!

13:46 he is linked for first time

14:06 he is paraded Celtic park!

Loan with option to buy has me thinking we are watching the pennies or hoping we are splashing some dosh on someone serious before Monday night

Well holy *, that came out the blue :56:

He was linked last year and i really wanted him to sign, now? I'm not so sure, i hope we have some option to get him in permanently near the end of this season if he does good, but it does feel like a panic signing.

Funny how you make fun of people saying it when it’s actually a fact.

To be fair if you removed the last season of him struggling to get into a recently relegated stokes team, would be viewed as a good season. Was first team for them in EPL, caps for austria, first team pick for Grashopper and Rubin kazan.

He's also 27 so isn't some project with potential.

Thankfully Elhamed looks very promising. This guy will be back up and provide competition. I can live with that.

A loan with the option to buy is a buy for me. If he does a job we can take him at end season permanently. If he's a toljan we can punt him . Win win.

Considering the doubt when Elhamed signed am saying let’s wait and see 2 decent rightbacks on the books isn’t that bad!

Pretty sure we were chasing him before he went to Stoke. Given the rat's record with defenders that's not exactly reassuring.

Hopefully he can come in, be solid and give us some cover. Any idea what the fee is for the option to buy if he turns out decent?

On the plus side, he's an actual right back, probably a Catholic.

Done a little bit of digging. Supposedlt POTY at Rubin, signed for Stoke for £5.5m and was one of the only silver linings in a poor relegation season, earning a new 5 year contract this time last year.

Unsure what happened but clearly there was a falling out as he has been playing with the u21/23s this season mostly. Looks a promising signing.

They just signed Tommy Smith and they play with 3 at the back too. I’m not arsed by it. Only wee fannies who judge players on their FIFA rating would.

Happy with him, think he will be good.

    * me though, a loan from Stoke :56::56: Another * loan.

Think that post somebody mentioned from their mate about him, Melling and another loan will turn out to be spot on. Looked Bauer up on Wiki right away when reading it and it already had Celtic as his current club, a good few hours before the club social media post.
