    And your point is?

    My point is nothing to do with the players. I’m saying whoever we sign needs to be on a permanent basis so they can be part of 9 & 10IAR and will be here for the Qualifiers next year.

    Loan signings is in an indication of short term planning which has cost us CL qualification the last 2 seasons.

    It's a sad sad state of affairs when a rumour of a loan deal for a left back (currently our most critical position) with hardly any playing experience, and virtually no chance of there being an option to buy, is the most believable one.

    I'm logging out of all media and going to bed till * Tuesday.

    2 huge games coming up, window been open for about 4 months and we are scrabbling about (or not) for loans and haggling over *, after banking 25m.

    Lawwell is a *, Lenny is a slavering nodding dog and the board are *.

    P.s I'll probably not be off media for more than 5 minutes, and on Thursday and Sunday I'll be up for these *, but today...my cup is half empty.

    True. But my point isn’t about ability. Yes we need players with good ability but IMO we also need players who want to commit their foreseeable future to the club. We can do that by getting them on permanent deals.

    We have a permanent LB. The jury is still out on him, although he’s improving. This guy could come in and compete. I’d only want a loan with an option to buy though.

    Ffs deciding between us or Zulte? One of the more boring teams here in Belgium. Playing infront of 60,000 die hard Celtic fans or infront of 6000 with no atmosphere? Chosing between 9iar or 10th to bottom in Belgium?

    Not sure about city but Lennon could have had a hand in psg after Weah.

    Whether we agree with it or not doesn't matter, psg would have seen us just throwing a hissy fit and ending a players agreement early.

    GIDEON MENSAH has emerged a possible left-back option for Celtic.

    Hoops boss Neil Lennon wants competition for £3million summer signing Boli Bolingoli.


    He’s been alerted to the availability of Mensah, 21, on a season’s loan from Salzburg.

    The Ghana Under-23 cap spent five months at Sturm Graz last term and is also being tracked by Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem.


    Mensah is being kept out of the Salzburg team by captain Andreas Ulmer and wants regular games.

    He was recently linked with a move to Barcelona after starring in a friendly with Real Madrid.
