Love all of the previous series but this one has started poorly for me.
Struggling to make sense of it.
Never good to hear a rendition of the Billy Boys on your TV either.
    Hoping it improves.

Surely they could have found a proper Scottish hun to play the part. His accent is terrible.

Googled it. Why get an Irish actor? Apparently that wasn’t Fullerton tho, he’s still to appear.

Personally can’t wait to see big Arthur knock 7 bells of * out the lot of them :D

Also googled the gang themselves. Thought they were just a street gang but they had links to fascists and the KKK (apparently), and the youth wing bombed pubs in Scotland and Ireland?

The introduction to the Billy Boys couldn’t have come at a better time - raises national awareness, and the mutants amongst their support will have gotten a hard-on watching it, so will likely be pumped for some staunch singing at Ibrokes on Thursday and Sunday.

I’ll bet that * Doncaster was watching the episode through his fingers!

Grandson of the Hun * was in the paper last week saying he should have got the part "ah look like ma granda and sound like ma granda". Ha ha, * thinks he should be on to a royalty for the use of his relatives and family name.

With the amount of inbreeding among Huns half the Asbestox season ticket holders should be on to a royalty.

People are aware that accents evolve over time I hope :giggle1:

His accent is weird, but if you were to be transported back to turn of the 20th century Glasgow you wouldn’t hear an accent identical to the average west of Scotland accent today.

Been another good season so far. Ignore the Scottish accent it's been the same for all the accents throughout.

It's just so stylish and over the top. Very unlike an English drama.

Johnny Dogs on going to see the Fury family. "I don't wanna go there Tom. They don't speak they just wave and howl." :giggle1:

It’s brendan Gleeson’s son. The accent is hoaching. The list of Glaswegians they could’ve put in the roll is endless. Robert Carlyle, Peter Mullen, Graham McTavish, Gary Lewis would all have fitted the bill for Razor gang leaders, they also wouldn’t have butchered the accent.

In the last episode, Glasgow looked pretty rustic and rural for being the “workshop of the empire” and one of the most heavily industrialised urban regions in Western Europe in that period of the 20th century... it’s a shame because authenticity has always been a strong point of the producers.
