2 games into the league (of which we are top by the way with a superior goal difference) and you have them favourites? Utter clown. Show me a bookies that has them favourites.

We hadn’t won away to motherwell in almost 3 years...why aren’t you using that as a reason for us to be better this year?

They definitely aren't favourites. There's nothing to back that up..

There is legitimate concerns about this season and it being closer though..

Let's be honest, we scraped past them twice at celtic park and were battered both times at Ibrox. Had they got their away form sorted, they would have ran us a lot closer than they did last year. To say they are favourites, probably ill informed. I'm angry, looking at everything negatively. However, no one can say we are clear favourites. If we go into the game at ibrox level on points with them and lose, I feel the balance for the season swings in their favour.

This. Ntcham and Mgreggor will be gone imo this time next year. Combine this with Brown being a year older (and already looking leggy) and we have a serious problem on our hands that we are not even remotely prepared for. Christ, we cant get prepared for it when we are winning 8 title in a row, i hate to think what will happen if the huns win the league this year. The powers that be at Celtic have some big big decisions to make in the coming weeks.

If they beat us at Ibrox and take a lead in the league then naturally the balance swings in their favour.

The pressure on Lennon and our bhoys would be huge.

Every games gonna be huge this season. Which is why we should play our 2nd's in Europe and concentrate on the league.

I wouldn’t say they are favourites just yet, nearly on par! If I am honest and last night was a massive reality check for loads of fans.

We are in turmoil at the moment when we should be light years ahead, dumped out of the champions league once again with a poor recruitment campaign and poor management as well.

It’s going to be a long * season.

It’s mad to think that a treble, treble winning side has come to this, best players sold, not being replaced money kept aside made a laughing stock and going into this season playing catch up once again with less quality.

    You canny make this up.

What i want to know is why are we stockpiling the money? What use is it just sitting in the bank? Why not speculate to accumulate?

If the shoe was on the hun foot, and they had a wildly successful business model with multi millions in the bank and us in turmoil, they would be standing on our neck every season. We just seem to want them to catch up. Baffling.

We scraped past them twice at Celtic Park? That's a bare faced lie as we battered them the first game of the season..

Going by your logic they scraped by us in the new year game..

We also battered them for 60 minute's in the home game and somehow actually lost our way when they scored from one of their first chances from a guy that should've been off and seen them down to 9..

The game at their dump is massive, no getting away from it.....but if they win, it isn't defining with 3 more to go and 2 at our place. If we beat them at the place though? It's a killer for them and puts us massively in he driving seat..

I've got concerns about this season but there needs to be realism. Domestically we're still capable of doing everyone and winning the league..

    It's true..

Even when they don't have it now they're still spending and in debt..

Yet we limp on and penny pinch our way about competitions. Almost every transfer is delayed or brought to a halt due to endless haggling..

    It's ridiculous..

Could you imagine what they would do though if they were in our financial position? Not a * snowballs chance in * would they let us catch them.

I agree completely. the amount of fans with their head in the sand is frightening. I include the board in this. I will no doubt be called a hun now from said fans.

Pretty sure the biscuit tin mentality exists to keep us running at profit/debt free/no losses just to appease board members and shareholders.

Like you said it's no use sitting in accounts, just spend half of it and it will be returned. Most likely when we sell another one of our best players.

Bang on mate. MON had this * cards marked early doors. His words in the interview after Villareal put us out the year after Seville were * prophetic. He saw the way club was going and the limitations this guy was going to impose.

To be fair to @Blochairnbhoy if he went this far back he'd still be typing.
