Have to agree Aidan. I don't think Kerry have a hope. There may be lots of talk building up their chances but barring an absolute catastrophe 5 in a row looks a certainty. In fairness, if any team deserves to make history, it's this Dublin team.

Credit to Mayo they as always gave it a good shot but they just could not stay with Dublin once Dublin kicked into high gear. That was some second half performance from Dublin and really no team would have been able to withstand that. IMHO opinion this Dublin team is the greatest team ever but anything can happen in one off games so that makes Dublin's current run just all the more impressive.
Unfortunate for Mayo really that they produce such a good team as they have had for the last decade but it just happens to come at the same time as the greatest team of all time or otherwise Mayo would have won at least a couple of All Irelands over the past decade.

Yeah, no luck but they should’ve won in 2016 and have themselves to blame there.

Credit to Dublin, but hope Kerry can get the win come September.

Probably most neutrals will be with you. But while obviously I want Dublin to win it would mean even more to me as growing up in the 80's when Kerry were on top it seemed we could never beat them. Now of course that has been firmly reversed over the past decade and now we have history on the line. This would be for me the sweetest if we can knock off Kerry and win the 5.

I'm new to Gaelic Football (only been watching it regularly since 2013), but it does appear that this Dublin team is something very special. The first 10 minutes of the 2nd half were amongst the most incredible pieces of sport I've witnessed. To see a team go up through the gears, and blow a valid competitor away like that, is rarely seen.

Whilst I understand those who want an upset, I always love watching greatness in action, so I'm hoping for a performance for the ages, and a record setting 5 in a row for the Dubs.

So what's with all these rumours and acquisitions about Tyrone and dodgy water?

Seen alot of stuff on social media accusing them of poisoning the Kerry lads.. heard from one or two who are close to the Kerry county scene that it's true.. despicable if true...

Well if it's on social media it must be true. Write a story on it and send it to the sun. They'll for sure publish it

Question for all you Gaelic Football fans ....... There appears to be 3 trophies/titles available to County teams.

The All Ireland is obviously the main one, but how much importance is placed on the Provincial titles and the National League?

Are the Provincial titles important in their own right, or are they just ways of qualifying for the Super 8s?

Is the League important, or is it just a pre-season warm up for the Championship games?

National League title is not held in great esteem.

Provincial titles are considered an achievement if there is any competition in that province. Ulster is the only real competitive province and to a lesser extent Connacht.

Interestingly in the 1990s the Ulster title was won by 3 different counties in 3 consecutive years with each team going on to win the All Ireland.

    Thanks

So in Association Football terms, All Ireland is the Champions League, the Provincial title is like a domestic cup, and the National League is like one of those pre-season tournaments (Audi Cup or Emirates Cup) ?

I wouldn't wipe my * with that hun rage let alone write, buy or take money from them but you crack on.

You seem to keep taking shots at the messenger. I merely enquired had any else heard about the rumours and your mate FC had also. So wind your neck in.
