There was rumours that he sent a rep to thank the players and KT told him to GTF, maybe it was Lustig instead haha

I know we are supposed to hate him, but the job he done coaching, especially the Scottish players, was phenomenal. Some huge improvements.

Forrest turned into a top winger, McGregor moulded into the midfielder he is now, Browns amazing resurgence that first season, Tierney progressing, bringing Christie back in, Armstrong, MJ reaping rewards now as well you could say.

The Scots are now the fittest in the squad as well probably. Professionalism went up tenfold.

Maybe, but that's the animal that is English fitba, because we clearly know he's a top manager. 9th-7th is realistically all they are going to get, anything below and he'd be on a shoogly peg.

I dont think he will be tbh, he done good enough with them in his first 6 months and the draw yesterday against a good Wolves team isn't a bad result.

Maguire will be a miss but the young Turk and Benkovic will become top centre halves, given game time. They lack a class winger and Vardy doesn't really suit his game. Don't rate Perez that highly, but he will get a few goals.

No saying hes no a decent manager, but hes went to Leicester, who sacked a league winning manager a few months after. If hes not top 6 by December hes gone.

His style is good to begin but like here becomes predictable and easy to play against and he never changes it.

Unless he's in a relegation battle, I can't see him being out of work by Christmas.

Had a quick glance in one of their forums .
Judging by the comments of Leicester fans yesterday on one of their forums it sounds like hes skipped straight to season 2& 3 (the way were playing) regarding their style of play.

The fact remains that he’s just an ordinary football manager. A good coach, but his style of play is extremely tedious. Once other teams catch on he’s very predictable, never changes his system and is a stubborn *.

Ok, we were amazing in the invincible season. But after that the football was largely *. He had one good season with Liverpool where he abandoned his approach, and that team who nearly won the league were counter attacking pace merchants carried by a world class Suarez.

Unless he goes back to that with Leicester I don’t see him achieving anything. His style of play doesn’t suit Vardy at all.

Did we insert a sell on clause? Only thing that matters to me now.

The more I think about the Rodgers thing I really cant blame him.

Dembele sold on deadline day with no chance of a replacement to be brought in.

6 months later he goes to Lawell and asks for the cash and hes told he has 2mil to spend and can loan as many rejects as he wants.

Shortly after he has a chat about next season and the fact he cant keep Benkovic and Lustig and Boyata will be off plus hes still waiting to see the Dembele cash..... hes told the budget will be around 10mil and btw if we get a decent bid for KT he's also away.

No worries says Rodgers as surely I'll have cash to invest in a replacement (plus we have that Dembele cash....). Lawell tells him you can buy as many Kilmarnock players as you like but make sure you lose about 100k a week in wages first!

Really the timing was * but can you really blame him?

Penny pinching on the brink of history.
