Players like Carroll, Llorente, Ben Arfa and Bojan would be looking for far too much dough.

    Wouldn't mind that though.

Guys all over the place with his soundbites for this window.
Genuinely don't know what he wants or expects to get for the remainder of this window. (No massive dig to him, just observation).

However, if we take him at face value and his word at this point, we have no fingers in the pies as such, which is not great news considering it takes us around 3 years just to realise we may need to sign for a specific position.

As has been said guys, I'm inclined to think this has all went a bit cold this week with a view to see how we fair against Cluj(a good win tonight and can practically guarantee us European football) and waiting for the English window to close.

Will spell a decent couple weeks there after....although that's hopeful thinking as previous years we haven't overly taken advantage at this stage of the English market closing.

Certainly need another right back (even if elhamed turns out to be sensational, he needs backup) and a new centre back, we only have ajer, Julien, Jozo as established natural centre backs. I'm happy with bitton as a versatile player, but a 4th choice natural CB is a must.

A striker and a keeper as well - personal preference is a keeper, but since we still have both Bain and Gordon on the books I doubt that's going to be a thought tight now.

Should we not purchase anyone else, then January is yet again another big window we probably won't utilise with the need for RB, CB, st, GK.

Don't think they are in a position any more to demand that amount

If KTs gone we should try for Pedro Rebocho. Would probably cost 6-7m but he'd be well worth it. Got 8 assists for a poor Guingamp side last year and doubt he'll stick around to play Ligue 2.

Oh and since Sinclair looks to be on his way out, another shout out for Sisto who Celta are actively wanting rid of.

I’ve been saying Sisto for years. We should have bought him when he left his club in Denmark. £5m was a * steal for him. Could probably get him for abou £8m.

No excuses from the board now with Tierney away !! Need a first choice left back, another centre half good enough to compete with Ajer and Jullian in and a right back to compete with Elhamed. Would also include a defensive midfielder in that too. Should be looking to spend at least £15 million minimum on those 4 positions

After the boards bonus is paid, new hotel, new training ground, new drive for Lawwell and then, maybe then he will sanction a million or so to invest into the side.

    Left-back suggestions:

    Pedro Rebocho (EA Guingamp)
    Rubén Duarte (Alavés)
    Mathías Olivera (Getafe)

Probably been said before but Ive always thought if KT went Meling from Rosenberg would be an ideal replacement. Always rated him whenever we have played them, solid defvensively and all heart. Still relatively young as well could play for years here!

Might have a chance if he's still there by the end of today. Maybe on loan though, think they want £12m.

Would be a beautiful sight seeing Wanyama put Morelos on his * within the first 5 minutes of an old firm game

He would be a marquee signing (albeit on loan) and something we need after losing a string of top players

For those reasons above, wages shouldn’t be an issue. We have money to spend and Spurs would probably cover a percentage as well
