More of a training exercise tonight, a few good and bad points to takeaway. A lot of slack passes at the back at times, the game maybe won but you have got to remain professional, that pass to Broony from Simo was a shocker. MJ and Morgan going forward were great but their final ball and descision making needs some work, that will come with game time. Boli likes to go forward more than defend, time and time again he was caught only for Broony or Nchamp to cover him although maybe that was a tactic. Nchamp put more of an effort in tonight so maybe he has had the kick up the * he needs.

What is still worrying is for all the possession we had we made very little chances for our forward. This time it was Griff, we fail to find him, only Griffs work rate and desire allowed him to get into the game. And Gordons kicking and distribution still gives me the heebie jeebies !! Why does he insist kicking it to one of our players who is being marked and under pressure?? Anyway through to the next round, that's what matters. COYBIG

Reality is 4 games and 12 goals to the Bhoys and 2 conceded with 2 away wins in Europe. If anyone doesn’t take full positives from that at the end of another treble season with new players being bought and bedded in then you will never be happy. 2-0 with total domination when the tie is over is a * solid result. * is the trend in digging out the negative in last few seasons?

Job done, things will get a lot more difficult now, but think we are in decent shape, still need a few in the door though.

Didn't see any of the match, but truth is this was killed off in the first leg, we've a proper match at the weekend and all seems to point to this being an unwanted but necessary exercise. Rejigging of the defence and keeper, not much effort, main concern to play the depths of the squad and avoid injuries. Mission accomplished, now onto St Johnston and the really important stuff...

Get serious in the next round. Cluj are a fair step up.

    Literally haven't a clue mate..

I'm assuming it isn't a right back seeing as he said that's stalled but we could have a player in by the weekend..

Haven't a scooby masel mate lol, just really disappointed that we start the new season without a proper RB, it's such a vital piece of the jigsaw, middle to front i think we look good with plenty of attacking options, although still need another attacking midfielder and a striker ?

Elhamed will do a job for now in my opinion and may surprise..

We deffo need another goal scoring midfielder in my opinion from central. Ntcham, Bitton and Broony never looked close to it today..

Would deffo add a striker as well :50:

I said I'd settle for a 0-0 with no injuries, so a 2-0 with (hopefully) no injuries will do nicely. Shved's goal was a peach, really looking forward to seeing what he can do this season.

Wouldn't read to much into that game, although it was handy to have Lenny being able to experiment with different formations/playing styles/resting legs and come away with a 2-0 win.

St Johnstone to get the lge off to a flyer and a wee game against some Romanian mob next week, nothing for Lenny to worry about.

    all of them
    Positives from tonight:

    -Broony in command
    -Bitton solid
-Julien looks a pler (some very pacey passes though which kind of caught their recipients off guard)
    - Comfortable without Eddy, mcgregor, christie, Forrest, KT, Ajer and Bain
    - boli looks to be improving game by game
    - looks like Lennys toe up Ntcham's * has revitalized the boy
    - Sinclair starting to look like man who wants to keep his place (or earn it back)
    - Griff looks like hes gonna smash records this season
-Mikey is really starting to impress. His tenacity is * great
    - shved.... nothing more to say. PLER

    Question marks:

    - Jozo's brain farts are becoming worrisome
    - On three seperate occassions Gordon passed to a player under preasurre. Liability.
-Ralston, although solid enough tonight, offers very little. This was an opportunity for him to impress against a poor opposition. Meh.

Bit of a formality of a game but job done. * Cluj. Bring them on.

NOW GO SIGN A * RIGHT BACK CELTIC.

Well done, Celtic. Even if the opponent is very weak.

Starting to feel we have to many nice players that lack aggression and a nasty side when needed .
