What a * finish that was..

I was dying for him to score after that one on one. You can see how buzzing he was. He missed some wildly in pre season as well. That should settle him down massively to start banging them in. Can see with the precision just how many top bins he's gonna stick away..

Gave Morgan stick first half but he was the best player on the park in the second. Think he's just shown beyond doubt that he isn't a winger..

Defensively second half that was * poor. Ralston isn't good enough. Jozo is gonna cost us I'm telling you. So many lazy passes and they should've equalised at the death. Probably should've had at least three goals second half minimum..

Well in Griff as well. Worked hard tonight and made that second goal as well as the first..

Decent win. Today hammers home why we need another goal scoring midfielder. Christie and McGregor out and none of them in the middle look capable..

A bit bland but an away win with a clean sheet in Europe is always a good thing, impressed with all of our new signings!

Morgan looked twice the player through the middle and considering we've got Shved and Forrest for the right wing slot that's where he should be competing to start !

Easy win, bit sluggish but can't complain.

Don't ever want to see Brown Ntcham & Bitton as a midfield 3 again though

That was a deeply uninspiring display with a lovely goal. We seemed incapable of completing simple passes and, despite Shved's excellent goal and a shot from Sinclair, no real threat on goal. A lot of room for improvement.

Thought we were absolutely * tonight and could easily have lost the game (not the tie).

There were loads of slack passes and a couple from Julien and Jozo could have cost us. Ralston just proved why we went with Ajer at RB so far, and Bolingoli contributed nothing other than an ability to run up and down.

Bitton and Ntcham were OK, but playing with two holders really hindered us. We didn't need so many midfielders behind the ball. Johnston had a few good moments, but it felt like Morgan felt the entire game flinging in crosses but I can't remember him connecting with any. Griffiths had a few nice touches and it's great to see him looking so sharp, but we didn't get him in the game enough.

I know there was a lot of rotation and the tie was already done etc, etc but that was pretty turgid.

Remember watching Morgan for the u21s v Holland and he was brilliant playing through the middle.

Don’t actually think it’s defensive coaching. I think more to do with getting to know his team mates and the position play will fall into place. At least he is showing good attributes but I know what you mean.:50:
